Hoteles populares de 4 estrellas en Arundel

Together with three other couples we booked the Lazy Sunday deal, great value for dinner, bed and breakfast. We were given rooms in the block at the rear of the hotel. All rooms were comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great location, and Arundel is lovely! The hotel does charge residents £7.50 to park in their car park, which didn't sit well with me. Incorporate that charge in the package price, and I wouldn't have known any different! When we sat down for dinner, we were given a poorly photo copied menu, which said 'Lunch' with two courses, main and pudding on it. I asked the waiter if we could order anything off of the menu as part of the Lazy Sunday deal and he confirmed that we could. When it came to ordering, for the vegetarian in the group, there was only one dish she could have, two if she ate fish, which fortunately she did! On ordering, there were only two steak available and one bottle of Malbec (other options were available but we only found out that we couldn't have a second one once we'd finished the first) The food served was lovely, across the group. Breakfast was ample with good choice, unless you are vegetarian as there were no veggie sausages available. Poor show really, it takes nothing to pop to the shop and get some! On checking out, it became apparent that we had been charged a surcharge of £6 per person for the steak, and £3 per person for cheese and biscuits, which we challenged and had credited to our account given that I had confirmation from the waiter that we could choose anything off of the menu. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would certainly stay there again.

Para aquellos que quieren una noche tranquila, sería prudente comprobar que no hay ningún evento similar en la noche que quieren reservar.

First of all , we had an issue with our room which wasn’t the hotels fault at all. It was in fact the sub contractor workers who were there at the time. It resulted in us not even staying the night and travelling back 3 hours home the same evening. When I spoke to reception about the problem the manager was helpful and explained we would get a full refund. I later on spoke to Georgios Lympitakis through email and let me tell you , he was a fantastic manager and offered us a free stay at their sister hotel (closer to home) and a full refund still applied. Very apologetic and sorted things out for us straight away. It was unfortunate about the stay in general but I cannot fault the staff especially Georgios Lympitakis who was an absolute delight. Kudos to you sir.

Staying locally and found this place - lots of restaurants in the area are closed on a Monday. The place is in the lovely town of Arundel, looks pleasant from the outside. We booked dinner for 7pm and arrived slightly earlier at 6.30pm. We asked to sit down early and were advised the kitchen was busy so we had a drink and waited for a table (it was about half full) The kitchen seemed to have issues with cooking for more than one table at a time. A patient couple next to us had waited over an hour for 1 bowl of soup. Another table refused to eat their food, paid and left. Our food arrived after 50 minutes and just before we gave up and headed elsewhere. We ate and left, perhaps avoid eating here on a Monday we won’t be returning.

No es tan bueno como se esperaba. Es solo un castillo en ruinas. No se puede comparar con los hoteles castillo de Escocia. Las habitaciones no están mal y las instalaciones y suministros son bastante buenos. Tucao sobre la cena, se dice que es de nivel Michelin, pero desde el servicio hasta los platos no aguanta, comida muy decepcionante.
