Hotel Vila Galé Náutico

We had a wonderful holiday in Armacao de Pera at Hotel Villa Nautico. The staff were amazingly polite, friendly and informative.  The hotel was cleaned extensively every day and everything was tidy and clean. Our rep was lovely. Very kind and informative.  We booked a dolphin watching trip with her. The only negative of which was that there were too many boats around the dolphins which made us a little sad for them. Our room was beautiful and spacious.  We had a great view over the pool and evening entertainment area. The entertainment staff barely spoke English and communicated more with the Portuguese visitors because of this,  however they were smily and friendly. The food was delicious and had a great range. We ate all our meals there. Our favourite night was Brazilian night because of the food and entertainment.  The karaoke entertainment was terrible.  We had to leave. Cocktails were mostly good. The beach was a short walk away. It was clean and not too busy. Very pretty but had some rocky areas so had to be careful where we stood. The transfers were fantastic as it was just us in a taxi. We visited Zoo Marine and swam with the dolphins which was fantastic. The taxi cost us 15 euros to get there. The hotel ptlrivided a delicious packedblunch free of charge. The staff were lovely and there was a lot in place to support the dolphins welfare. We loved the animal shows, big wheel, log flume and rollercoaster. The wave pool was also lovely to jump into to cool off. There are cheaper tickets for disabilities and free for carers. We went on the tourist mini train around the area. Only cost 5 euros for a round trip so very reasonable. Taxis were also reasonable too. We also went on the Dreamer boat trip (booked through Tui) from Albufeira. We were picked up at our hotel. We visited the Benjali caves and went dolphin watching. It was nice to be dropped off at the harbour and hour early so we had time for a wander around the shops and bars. There was lots of nature to see. We enjoyed watching the storks especially. We would definitely book with Tui again

Lovely week away ,my first visit to portugal ,i booked a junior suite pool view which was lovely,the whole hotel was very clean and tidy .room wasnt ready when we arrived as we had a early morning flight and then at first it was the wrong type of room but soon got it sorted .staff all very polite ,ate in the italian which was very nice .you can choose to eat in or outside at meal times and there was a snack bar open aswell during the day where u get your drinks and assortment of icecream from , few activities for children and adults during the day,entertainment very low key ,5 minute walk to the lovely beach and its a nice walk into the town.visited sand city nearby,silves and the benagil cave boat trip ,definately use ubers out there ,very efficent .just couldnt understand why at breakfast the plates were smaller than other meal times and sometime you had to wait abit in a queue at the snack bar but was a lovely stay ,pool towels supplied and changed whenever at reception,surprised its rating is 3 plus
