Start with the good. The hotel itself is pretty nice. Our room was really nice with two king beds. The toilet paper holder was all messed up which was annoying, but otherwise it was in good shape. Now the bad. This place needs better employees. First off, they charge $44 a night in parking which is outrageous. So we said we'd street park (do this for free on weekends) and would not be parking in the garage, so we were told that was removed from our account and if we changed our mind we'd need to come see them. Upon checking out the next day, we were told everything was fine and we headed out. Then, I received an e-mailed receipt showing that they charged us for parking. Clearly someone screwed up and now I'd need to spend my own time getting it straightened out. I called several days later after our trip to try to clear this up but the lady seem dejected and annoyed that I had bothered her with this issue. I don't mind mistakes every now and then but owning up to them and showing some HOSPITALITY given that you're in the business would have avoided this review. This hotel itself is pretty nice, but exorbitant parking and incompetent employees with poor attitudes leaves a lot to be desired from a Marriott brand hotel. Lesson I can share here is to street park on weekends and check your receipt BEFORE you leave the hotel so it can be fixed on the spot if they screw your bill up like they did ours.

We usually stay at the one in Rosslyn, one Metro stop away. However, this time we wanted a two-bedroom suite and Rosslyn did not have availability. First, the rooms. This includes two bathrooms, so it could easily be shared by two couples. The living room is compact and includes a TV, as does each bedroom. The kitchen has everything except a toaster or an oven, so a toaster-oven would be great, but hazardous, I imagine. The dining room table is comfortable for 4-5 people. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom has a tub. The room was quiet. We have yet to try more of the common areas, such as pool, laundry and gym. Breakfast is standard with plenty of seating. The front desk staff is very helpful, with directions to the nearby pharmacy and food store. The area is very safe. We did not bring a car so cannot comment on the garage.

Stayed for a business trip. Hotel is 3 blocks from the Metro. I lived the studio room Three writing areas, including a massive desk. Desk and nightstand has multiple electrical outlets plus USBs. Room had large windows for natural lighting plus desk had good task lighting Staff were always present and helpful. Breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful. Plenty of food places nearby. Starbucks and small Target are nearby. Would gladly stay there again.
