Tsamis Zante Suites - Adults Only

We stayed 4 nights at Tsamis zante and we really loved this place. The exterior of the hotel is seriously the best decorated that i have ever seen. The pool furniture is just so beautiful I cannot really describe. Other than that, the staff is really amazing and helpful, loved our bedroom beachfront, the food amazing (has breakfast every day and dinner twice). The place is really amazing to relax. Really recommend to have a car/moto and go to the village of planos nearby.

Although a little remote, this hotel was stunning. The whole vibe was very chic and chill out vibes. The staff were incredibly friendly and so helpful. There is nothing they couldn’t do to help, particularly Vassilis who was so kind and greeted us with a wave every time we saw him. We didn’t catch the names of all the reception staff, but they were also helpful, kind and welcoming. The food was simple but a good variety every evening (we were there for 10 days and there was little repetition in the main evening meals). Teas coffees and juices available in the morning, but if on half board and get dinner, you do have to pay for drinks with dinner including water. In terms of the facilities, the three main swimming pools were lovely and so many beds and loungers available, so never trouble getting one (it was beginning of the season so this may have helped). Having a suite with a private pool was a treat, so glad we did this as it was so lovely to have a private space as well as the main pools. There was no private beach as such, but a level down from the infinity pool there was a sandy/stony area with beds, and access to the sea was stony, so be warned! It was about 10 minutes walk to the local shop, a bakery was just up the road also and a few tavernas. We were glad to have a car to be able to get about. Even if some of the roads were questionable!!! Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if in need of a chill out break.

Been twice to this hotel now, clean and tidy, and have plenty of room for sunbeds by swimming pools. Room cleaned daily, and changed towels daily if required. The bathroom in our room needed a refresh as you could read all the writing on the plaster board. It would have been nice to have a decent size cup and kettle to make a cup tea, a coffee maker not ideal, and no milk portions to use. Reception staff helpful and friendly arranged a scooter for us for the week. Mini shop within a ten min walk and cash point so you can get all you need. The food in the main restaurant this year was slightly disappointing not overly hot. There was a decent selection of food, but I just preferred last year choices than this year. In general very chilled holiday.

Peaceful/quiet holiday We spent 10 days in this hotel, the staff are all so wonderful, from front desk, to bar tenders, cleaners, masseurs, all the staff in the dining room. A very relaxing stay. We recommend renting a car to get around which we’d recommend. The hotel is located in a very quiet area, just a couple of other restaurants, a shop and a petrol station close by. Which is exactly what we wanted. The roads are easy to navigate with sat nav. The other towns were nothing special, main Zakynthos town, go two or three streets back from the main strip and you’ll find a few nice shops but nothing exceptional. Porto Niova beach was a great find. A few parasols to rent and very few people. The beach is stony, but step in 6-8 feet and it’s flat sand so great for not so strong swimmers. A nice relaxing holiday, great hotel if you’re craving peace and quiet and being away from the crowds.

I was really excited to stay in this hotel after reading all the reviews which was all good , well that was not the experience we had unfortunately. Our first night there we walked down for our evening meal upon telling the lady our room number she told us they was full so we said that’s fine we will wait at the bar what time should we come back for as it was pretty late already being 8:30pm she told us that’s not possible to go to the bar and to just go back to our room and come back later ! Obviously we wasn’t going to do that as we was dressed and out and told her it’s fine we will just wait at her desk until til someone leaves thank god we didn’t go back to our room because 10 other couples at least arrived behind and within minutes we got seated as someone was leaving. After checking in to room 609 the first night we had a very bad leak in the room it was raining outside and the leak was coming from the fire alarm in the room, we told reception and they told us someone would look at it , the second night after getting in from our evening meal we notice an extremely loud noise coming from the air con we tried to ignore it but we was awake all night with the sound we told reception again the next day and felt like we was nagging them they told us that someone was coming to look at it , that night after arriving back again after our evening meal sure enough we could hear the extremely noisey air con again ! The next morning after having to complain AGAIN they finally moved us we was happy with the room even though the bath was covered in black hairs we just thought it’s better than the last room and at this point we was sick of going to reception sounding like karen’s, then upon leaving for the airport we booked our private taxi via the hotel the night before then on the day of leaving a member of staff the same one that told us to go back to our room also go in our taxi confused we didn’t mention it only when we realised that we was actually going away from the airport at one point to drop her off at the bus station what the hotel had organised the taxi driver had told us ! With our flight being an hour later this put us on edge worrying we would be late ! This definitely definitely isn’t a 5 star hotel breakfast was bland the same thing every single day not a lot of choice at all they even ran out of bread one morning the main thing people have for breakfast. We never got a bottle of complementary wine even though on all the other posts it says they got a bottle in there private pool rooms which was sad as we was there for a special occasion , the wine glasses that was in the room was filthy also which wasn’t a surprise as the room in general was poorly cleaned. Its a shame I can’t upload videos to this post it would show how bad the leak was and how loud the air con was. All in all we had a nice time and made the best of a bad situation but I would definitely not be staying here again and wouldn’t recommend it to any one else either.
