We returned from our holiday on Saturday 26th October 2024 after a week at this hotel and we will not be returning. I know it was end of season and the hotel was closing but the food in the restaurants was cold, with limited choice and it seemed to be the same food every day the snack bar was ok but often the food there was cold too, we eat out 4 nights of the 7. The staff we're ok never really smiled or got any conversation from them or found them very helpful. The drinks were watered down and the entertainment was poor. The pools were ice cold, the water park was fun but slides are rapid. The room was ok, clean and basic but the smell from the drain was disgusting, we was in E block at the bottom of the complex with a swim up room and the beds were rock hard, woke everyday with back ache. There was every little around the hotel, taxi into the town was €10 or about a 30 minute walk but beach was about a 5 minute walk but was full of stones. Half of the machines in the arcade did not work. I do not recommend this hotel and will not be returning.

Amazing weeks holiday! I was a little apprehensive before going after reading some reviews, but honestly we had the BEST time here. The rooms were clean, spacious and we even had a sea view from our balcony. It has a fridge and kettle (though no cups?!) and everything else you’d expect. We also had Netflix in the room which was a bonus! There is so much to do for kids. The splash parks were amazing and the life guards and staff were so friendly! The hotel is spotless and you get a little buggy to take you to your room on arrival. We checked in early and our room was ready when we got there. We were by the pool by lunchtime. The animation team were 10/10 and made you feel so involved and welcome. They did karaoke some evenings and the team were amazing at getting you hyped up, dancing with you and just putting you at ease. So much so my 5 year old got up and sang…twice! There is a huge play park behind the arena with bouncy castles, trampolines etc. these are charged extra but it was 10 euros for the inflatables and they could come and go as they pleased all night. Well worth it! The only niggle for that is if you want a drink down there you have to pay, however it was close enough that we sat at the AI bit and could still see the kids. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the food. All the food was fine and what you’d expect from an AI however it could have done with being a bit warmer, especially the snack bar. The food from the snack bar was cold though not inedible. The kids enjoyed the ice cream available everyday from the snack bar but there was no ice cream in the restaurants which meant kids puddings were lacking. No a deal breaker but worth thinking about in terms of improvements. Considering we were there until the last day when it closed for winter, we were not once made to feel unwanted or rushed out. The staff were incredible and I would not hesitate to return. In fact, we are already looking at next year!

We are here now got a swim up room which is good room is good the overall hotel is fair BUT and it’s a big but the reviews on here talking about the food must live on a different planet to me. It’s shocking Saturday night main restaurant closed lets squeeze everyone into a side one no tables no PLATES feeding time @ Butlins. Such a shame the place has all the makings of a really great place sat in the restaurant now just outside the hotel which thankfully is good and open for breakfast. Not cheap either £3k for a week last week of the season. Great place for kids but you have been warned about the food!

This hotel, in my opinion, is more a 3 star than a 4 and overpriced for what you get..the hotel is clean and I couldn’t fault the cleanliness of the rooms or the staff. Even though it’s almost the end of the season, there was still loads of things open both inside and out of the complex..you can hire cars, quad bikes etc from across the road and there were still most trips running..only this I would say is don’t rely on the service bus because it very rarely comes out of season and doesn’t seem to stick to any timetable when it does.. The food, like most all inclusive, was very similar most nights and became very “ boring “ after a couple of days..you couldn’t fault the freshness of the food, it was just the same sort of thing, day after day..do watch out for the bar and fun fair bit because they are not part of your all inclusive package..night time entertainment was very poor and, depending on where you are, we were block B, you’ll get woken up by the Cockerel at any given hour..not ideal if you want a lie in.. Overall, it’s not a bad hotel at all, you know what to expect at all inclusive hotels, I just felt, for the money we paid, it could have been a bit better than it was..

Great family hotel for the price !! We will start with the positives, amazing slides and pools (although NONE of them are heated so enter at your own risk) but slides and kids areas are incredible. Our room had its own infinity pool, and was great, we could stay there till lunch (when we lost the sun) and move to another one of the main pools. The evening entertainment is good, most of it is free (€5 for bingo but you win a T-shirt) . There is arcades attached to the hotel which you do pay extra for. Most of it wasn’t working which I presume isn’t normal as they had 10 days left of the season before they close for the winter so everything was gearing down The food, we preferred the main restaurant over the burger house . Bella Gusto needs booking in the morning on a first come first serve basis and can be booked multiple times, there is an A La Carte on site that you can use once during your stay and the mixed meat platter and Lamb were amazing. Food in the buffet restaurant was repetitive but we were able to find something everyday and were happy with our choices. Rooms were lovely, cleaned daily. However lacked storage (4 coat hangers in a room for 4 people) but that’s me being picky, the room was air conditioned and beds were comfy and we had a pool so very impressed !! Would definitely visit again, the hotel was lovely, the swimming facilities were great and we were very happy with our room. We hired a car for a day to see the island as busses aren’t regular and taxis can be expensive (€10 euros for a 7 mins journey) however a word of warning be prepared for STEEP hills and very windy narrow roads !!

We have had the best 10 day's at the caretta paradise resort every staff member was lovely and friendly. I previously read to download the caretta app which I did so check in was quick and easy then we were driven to our room by a very helpful gentleman given us info on where to go. My 8 and 17 year old both made the most of the splash park and slides and never hungry thanks to the amount of snacks from hot dogs, burgers, gyros (amazing) ,ham&cheese rolls/sandwiches, chips, pizza slices, fruit and the ice cream was the best!! We did find ourselves in the main restaurant for breakfast as we prefer less busy and the pancakes and range of breakfast items were brilliant here we also booked Bella a few evenings and it was beautiful the kids loved watching the pizzas getting made. Housekeeping was 10/10 for us we always had fresh towels and new bedding. We had a shared swim up pool which we did upgrade to the private ones (best decision ever) as we did find the shared pool a bit on the cold side at this time of year however we were never out the new one as it was getting the sun all day with the most spectacular view. We used the hotel transfer a few times to go into town the best driver and service picked us up every time within 5mins with a smile. When we did venture out the resort we had a fab time at fantasy mini golf and tsilivi waterpark both very reasonable prices. A must if you want to eat out is noka next door, red apple just along the road and majestic in town. The entertainment at night looked good but we did spend our time at the arcades and bouncy castles which my daughter loved, on a whole we would definitely come back here in the future thanks for a memorable holiday Caretta.

Outstanding resort for families with kids :) so many things to do, never a dull moment. Great food, waterpark &fun park. Great activities like minidisco every night. Stroller friendly everywhere. Super close to the beach as well. Perfect! We even got our room upgraded to a private pool with sea view one for no reason. Loved it, highly recommand it ❤️

Our transfer from ZTH airport took approximately 55 minutes via Jet2 Holidays. The check-in process was certainly the most challenging we've experienced at any hotel. Although the staff was friendly, we were confused by the requirement to download an app, which took a considerable amount of time. Additionally, we had to check in again and queue to pay the local tax, which felt unnecessary since we could have completed everything at once. On a brighter note, we appreciated the option for a late supper, as the dining room remains open until 11 PM for guests arriving or departing late. We also enjoyed the convenient buggy service that transported us to our room. We spent 10 days in a family room located in S block. Although we had a swim-up room, I don’t think it’s essential; we used it only once and would have been just as happy without it. The rooms are like mini apartments but lack a kitchen sink area; however, this is understandable since the hotel operates on an all-inclusive basis. The room did include a fridge, a kettle, and a few cups, although there were no spoons or complimentary tea, coffee, or water. If you arrive late, you can purchase water and essentials from the on-site mini markets, which are open until around midnight. Our accommodations were comfortable and well-furnished, but keep in mind that only one pillow is provided per bed, and unlike other hotels, there are no extras in the wardrobe, so you might want to bring something from home. Our room attendant was attentive and made us welcome and also made us lovely surprises on our beds etc, although we did notice that the towels appeared somewhat grey; while I suspect they were originally white, they seemed a bit worn, but they did smell clean. For families with children like us, the hotel is a paradise, reminiscent of an adult arriving in Las Vegas, complete with exciting machines costing around €1 for mini go-karts €3 per ride, plus bouncy castles available for unlimited use at €10 per night. Our little one loved it! Although it's not typically our scene, we enjoyed watching him make new friends. Note that the bar near the amusement area, which we called mini Vegas, charges for drinks, but the hotel seems fine with you taking drinks from the all-inclusive bar up there; we mixed both options. The splash slides are super for kids and adults at heart. As for the entertainment, we’ll leave it to your judgment; everyone has unique preferences, but there seems to be something for everyone if you're open to exploring. In summary, when it comes to food and beverages, this has been the most frequently discussed topic based on the reviews we've gathered before booking. This was our fourth holiday this year, which included a luxury cruise and a stay at a 4.5-star resort in Corfu in June, so we are accustomed to various offerings. Although the dining rooms may not be lavish and the staff could be little more welcoming, we believe that you receive value for what you pay. We found nothing
