We just returned from this lovely hotel yesterday and we were very sad to leave It’s was great! Clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful We had an issue with our air conditioning which they sorted for us My only complaint was my balcony was too hot in the time I enjoy my early evening glass of wine! But that’s not their fault

A return visit to Papillion Hotel after 7 years and it has once again proved to be a wonderful experience. It is evident that the owners have spent a lot of time and money refurbishing the hotel.The new breakfast room and also the upgrade to the rooms are fantastic. I also like the upgrade of the bar area.The friendly helpful staff remain the hotels best asset.It will certainly be a return to here in the very near future.

Nice hotel in the busiest part of argassi, even though it's situated in the heart of the town the noise is minimal. The rooms are spotless and modern ,beds really comfortable. The aircon is very good and free. We stayed in room 426 on the first floor , the balcony is narrow and not the best but with nice view of the pool which got quite busy even though it's late September. Breakfast is just ok , no brown sauce though. Reception is great and resolved all our issues without hesitation. If your staying in Argassi on a bit of a budget I'd recommend Papillion, fantastic pool and bar area.

We normally try stay in apartments on holidays but following the reviews we booked a two bedroom room here and we're so glad we did. For us the hotel is faultless. All the staff are really friendly, the pool area is immaculate and the rooms are fantastic. Ours was overlooking the pool and it was very modern and spotlessly clean. The aircon is great, there's a bit of a kitchen and plenty of open storage. The only thing to bear in mind is that there are no doors on the bedrooms, so just make sure you're comfortable with who you go with! There's a pool bar with a good selection of food and drinks.. The pool itself is massive and up to 12ft deep. It's just set back near the centre of Argassi within walking distance of every bar, cafe and restaurant. Zante town is about 50 mins walk away but be careful because someparts are without a footpath. If you're a walker take a trip up the monastery viewpoint, about 5 miles if you follow the track, well worth it. We would definitely stay here again, we'll done to all the staff and management!

Arrived in the evening and reception got us sorted quickly. We hired safe and aircon. Room very clean. Bathroom was modern and fresh towels daily. No hairdryer in our room 407. We had bought one though. Bed really comfy. Just about enough storage for a week. Bar was good and food delicious served all day. Bar staff efficient and friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Maid service was excellent. This hotel was really lovely and all the staff were welcoming. Location very good.Definitely would stay again.

We spent 10 amazing days at this hotel. The rooms are modern, clean and spacious. The bathrooms have plenty of room. We have a room overlooking the pool, the balcony was plenty for two people. There were plenty of sun loungers available, the pool was good. Shout out to all of amazing staff, everyone was super friendly. We had some great chats with the bar staff and reception staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The food at the pool was very good and on par price wise with the local restaurants. The drinks were also comparable with local bars. The breakfast was ok, typical continental breakfast which was tasty. The bar attached to the hotel was very good, we used that most nights. Again nothing was too much trouble. The beach was a 10 min walk away. Overall we had an amazing time. Would definitely go back

Great hotel, Lady on reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms spotlessly clean and modern daily cleaners are super friendly. Only downer is not a lot of place to hang and put your clothes away. Pool area is clean and can always get sunbed. Loved the pool great as sectioned in two a shallow side and side that get gradually deeper. Spent many days floating away super relaxing. Buffet breakfast has a great selection, cooked foods, cold cuts, fruit, cakes, pancakes, cereal, toast, bread, jams. Coffee, teas and juice. Great location very central. Bar area very nice and relaxing food looked great. Cocktails very nice

Me and my wife stayed 2 weeks may 9th to 23rd. We really enjoyed it at papillon the location is brilliant central to everything. Breakfast is probably the best english we have had in Greece. The pool is a good size with sun all day and plenty of sunloungers. A couple of negatives are the poor garden view from our small basement balcony and the lack of storage space for your clothes. The best thing about papillon is how friendly the staff are with special mention to Andreas behind the bar illias at breakfast Yolanda the cleaner and themitria always smiling/chatty but most of all to Christina hard working always pleasant.
