Admiral de Luxe

Visited for a week with my 18 year old daughter and 11 year old son, and also visited with my partner and his 2 children. We had separate rooms on the other side of the hotel - we did ask for rooms next door, but they couldn’t accommodate this (no worries for us, but something to think about if you’re travelling in a group) We stayed in a private pool room and our room backed onto the main pool area. The room itself was fine, very tidy, had a safe and a fridge and bottled water was supplied everyday, The room downfalls were - not enough storage space, would have been nice to have some extra drawers. Towels weren’t replaced daily, and the shower wasn’t great. We also had neighbours who smoked on their outside patio, which made using our outside pool disgusting at times! Smoking is a problem around the resort if you don’t like the smell - I’m not sure because in the UK we are now used to there being a ban in most public places? But I really noticed the smell a lot!! Food wise - breakfast buffet was fine. Lots of choice. Lunch and dinner could be hit and miss I found, specially for children. We found it better to use the snack bar menu to feed the kids. The restaurant was spotless and staff were very quick at clearing up plates etc. it was difficult at times to find a table of 6 without having to move furniture - most of the time we split up to eat. The drinks menu was great, although they had no fruit to make any of the smoothies on offer during our stay. They would also replace ingredients if you asked, for example Soda water for lemonade etc. The lady behind the bar - (Olena I think) made some great cocktails! And I highly recommend asking for a shot of spirits in a slush drink!! Entertainment - during the day there would be a 10 minute aqua aerobics session. The best part was the kids joining in, although to one guy this seemed to be more of a nuisance, the best guy was the one who let the kids push him in the pool after and he encouraged them to join in alongside. One girl would also turn up with an entertainment top on, but she just followed her co-worker around and did nothing. The evening entertainment was ok. 4 nights out of 7 they had a different band / singer etc. None of them went on later than 11 and the it was pretty quiet. A couple of things that weren’t great and needs looking at - removal of belongings on sun loungers. One morning my kids were lying in and I went poolside to read a book / do a crossword / enjoy the morning sun. I was there for 2.5 hours when I wanted to grab and coffee and go to the bath room, on return I found all my belongings had been removed and I was told that I cant reserve a sunbed?? I had been on it for 2.5 and away from it for 10 minutes max. So this is annoying if you are a solo traveller, or an early riser. Five friends (women) decided on this hotel for our annual girlie week away. Lovely hotel, lovely staff, lovely food and drinks, comprehensive cocktail list. Staff come around the pool throughout the day with snacks which is a nice touch. Rooms are spacious and we had a swim up pool, the swim up pools are shared with two other rooms. The only negative, which didn’t bother me but could bother others - rooms aren’t cleaned everyday and oddly we had a bed change/clean towels the day before we were leaving. Possibly housekeeping could look at a timetable update. Really close to town and not hilly as others have said, just a slight incline. Nice that there isn’t a scramble for sunbeds around the pool. We got a taxi to St Nicholas beach, 30 euro each way but between us this wasn’t much more than a local bus. Beach lovely and worth a trip as you see a bit of the island in the cab. Also got glass bottom boat trip 35 euros for half day, small boat with around 30 people, worth the trip, we booked with Michael Tours 100m or so down from hotel on right. All in all a lovely relaxing holiday.

I have booked very last minute according to the pictures on the website and when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised that it was exactly as what booked and the staff even waited for me to offer me the late dinner so thanks to Kornela I had dinner which I didn’t expect. Kornela is exceptionally thoughtful and makes sure guests feel completely at ease. Breakfast, lunch and dinner was buffet and they had snacks too and of course cocktails! the food was a large variety from veggie to meat lovers and definitely plenty of choice for someone with a sweet tooth. Staff were going above and beyond to accommodate anyone’s needs and it didn’t feel like a hotel, rather a lovely stay at family business where you feel like home and no request is too much! I definitely made best pick with my last minute booking! Thank you all for such an easy and enjoyable time ☺️ will be back

Currently staying at Admiral De Luxe in a ground floor swim up room. Cannot fault this hotel… from being greeted with a welcome drink and plate of food when we arrived, to the non stop attention paid to all guests throughout their stay. Both restaurant manager and the general manager go out of their way to help and nothing is too much trouble. We were even told that if we wanted something particular to eat, to let them know and it would be arranged. The food is excellent, flavoursome, fresh and always something different to sample. As a couple we have got what we wanted.. peace and quiet and the opportunity to relax in a beautiful picturesque setting. Please ignore the negative reviews .. this hotel is real gem

We stayed at this hotel in August for 10 nights. The hotel is very clean and does have quite a relaxed feel. We had a pool room which was definitely worth the extra, when the pool got busy or there we just wanted to relax, the space was perfect. The staff were all polite, and worked quite long hours. Food was pretty good overall, with standard buffet items and a few variations including greek ones thrown in. We could generally find a sunbed, but they were getting reserved towards the end of the stay. There were some nice touches, like bottles of water left in your room, and the snacks/juices brought around during the day by staff. The outdoor area could probably do with some extra seating for the evenings, and the hotel should definitely review its smoking policy! Guests are permitted to smoke in most outdoor areas, including the outdoor eating area. That said, we really enjoyed and I would recommend. Argassi is a nice little town, and a good base. Few bars, shops and restaurants and a few nice sea front bars.

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family of three 2 adults and a 12 year old.We had a swim up room and the room it's self was spacious and clean apart from the fridge smelt of stale milk and I'm pleased I checked inside the kettle before I used it as its filter had mould on it.The pool was great for a hour or so a day then the rest of the time it was freezing as had no sun and also our pool was overlooked by the reasturant so you always felt like you where being watched not very private at all.The hotel pool area has lots of sunbeds and is kept clean the pool isn't very big so once a few inflatables go in it can get a bit crowded.The reasturant has plenty of seating areas inside and out we always preferred to eat inside where it was cooler.The food is really nice for a all inclusive always fresh cooked meats and fish and pastas ect.plenty of drinks choice too.The staff work hard to ensure the dining area is kept clean and plates are cleared quickly.The evening entertainment we only caught once it was a live singer she was excellent but we went out most nights.The location of the hotel is great your practically 30 seconds away from the beer academy and the crazy golf they do lovely cocktails there by the way.Also a handy shop and in my opinion one of the better reasturants in the area The meeting point we ate the on the first night as we arrived late and it was delicious and a good price.We used Michael travel for all our trips and they where brilliant highly recommend using him.The best meal by far was Target reasturant they pick you up and drop you back at your hotel.The food and views are to die for and the staff are so friendly and welcoming.So main points the hotel is up a slight incline.If you get a pool room I'd say ask for one that doesn't have the hotel reasturant overlooking it.Check your kettle before use and also hotel WiFi is good so definitely worth logging into 😊
