Beautiful space and very lovely staff, they were all so so helpful the food was delicious. Peaceful and very relaxing. Note, you definitely need to drive! Only minor note, bed was a bit hard. Totally recommend for quiet, relaxing and visiting the local vineyards

This is one of the most beautiful l, if not the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in. The room can only be described as amazing with its terrace, patio area and hammock. The room facilities were superb. The staff were friendly and attentive and welcomed us upon arrival. The garden area with the pool and hammocks was a relaxing and tranquil place to spend time and appreciate the surroundings. We are already planning our trip back for this summer!! And I recommend it to all my friends. A fantastic find

Cuprena is set on a gated property approximately 30 mins drive from the town of Arezzo. There is nothing nearby. Was greeted by a receptionist who could barely speak English. She took us to our room but did not explain how anything worked. Our room was on 2nd floor. There is no lift. The room was loft style with small windows & was somewhat dark & depressing. The bathroom was fitted with a tiny circular shower alcove. Too bad if you’re a large person. Water from the shower overflows all over the floor. At dusk we discovered the lights were not working in our room. We walked back down to Reception (there are no phones in the rooms). Young woman could not get the lights to work & said she would have to get a colleague to help. No one ever arrived. There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms. Breakfast is served between 8am-10am. At 7am I walked downstairs to see if I could get a coffee. There was no staff around at reception - or anywhere. No lights on. No coffee or tea making facilities even in the dining area. I was hungry & am used to having breakfast much earlier. I went for a walk around the perimeter of the grounds as I patiently awaited 8am. I came within centimetres of stepping on a deadly Italian Viper snake (I googled it after). Too bad if I’d been bitten… no staff around to come to your rescue! The pool is not big enough to do laps in. I’m not sure what this place is. It’s not a Hotel. There is No service. Bring your own everything if you stay here.
