This was our second stay at this hotel having skied at les arcs since 2018. Our first visit was great and this year was too. Rooms are basic but have everything we needed and the WiFi is free. We didnt have any noise problems in the room either on this visit or last year. We had half board and found the breakfast and dinner options to be really wide ranging, especially as we're vegetarian and there were still many options. You can ask to take a packed lunch to the slopes and they provide you with the food and a tin to put it in. Wine was free with dinner and was much nicer than expected for a freebie. The staff were friendly and helpful and speak excellent English, we'll be back next year, thanks for another fab week in Arc 2000

Having traveled through the night, we arrived at the hotel mid morning and were told we could use our lift passes straight away, the only problem was we weren’t allowed in our rooms until 6pm, so that was pointless. We spent the whole afternoon in a local bar waiting to be able to use our room to get changed and freshen up. Whilst the hotel is at best basic, the food is extremely poor. The choice of food looks impressive but the reality is very disappointing. Getting a properly cooked fried egg seems beyond their comprehension, they are more interested in producing a copious amount of pancakes of which only the top layer is worth eating. The scrabbled eggs and bacon are brought out without the need of an oven glove because they are already lukewarm warm when they arrive. Evening meal sometimes has a chef dedicated to one station of pretentious fare that most people ignore e.g. pigeon or tofu. Every attempt they made at making soup failed monumentally, it was always tasteless or disgusting. The rooms are basic but clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Reception is closed most of the time and Crystal reps are absent all of the time, in fact if you haven’t got a smart phone you wouldn’t know when your coach was departing. There is a night club just across the street that empties out at 4am, trust me I know, it’s noisy! The spa is made up of a steam room, a sauna and 2 hot tubs, one of which doesn’t work. My partner and I were talking whilst in the hot tub, and were asked to be quiet because the walls are so thin we could be heard in the massage room. I will never stay at 2000 again for many reasons but the slopes make getting back to your hotel extremely difficult.

Very large hotel in a great position but it’s not a 4 * hotel. Chaotic at breakfast times, main restaurant has just two coffee machines which leads to long queues. All meals are buffet style with some nice but other times rather bland food. Wine is on tap which is a bonus. Bedroom corridors look like a prison, rooms are ok, we stayed at the rear of the hotel, and from 4am the sound of the service vehicles reversing up to hotel could be heard. Bathrooms toiletries consisted of two small bars of soap. Ski room is manic at 9am with just one staircase for access and egress. Desk staff were sometimes indifferent. Spa facilities are two hot tubs, steam room and sauna which you have to pre book and try to find a vacant slot if lucky. Would I stay there again, unfortunately not.

I went with my son for a week during UK school Feb half term, Half Board booking with Crystal Ski. Mostly a very good experience. Son loved it, I thought it was very good. We're both hoping to go back to Les Arcs and would stay again! Lots of good stuff.. - We arrived late, around 10pm there was still some hot and cold food available from the buffet - Staff were all friendly. Both restaurant and reception. - Breakfast was excellent. We filled both filled up for the day and mostly just had snacks on the slopes. - View from the restaurant was fantastic, every morning looking out toward Mont Blanc. - Asked a few resort questions at reception, all well answered and friendly - Location is excellent. Just a couple of mins from slopes and about 5 mins from Ski school - Rooms were clean an tidy - Evening meals excellent considering it's almost all buffet. The free wine was a a very nice surprise. Meat (lamb and steak) served very rare, I like mine medium or well done. This was a me problem not a restaurant problem though. When in Rome, etc. - Our twin room was at the back of the hotel so probably one of less attractive views, but still very good to look out over the Lanchettes lift and Aguille Rouge. No balcony but didn't expect one. - Some good, enthusiastic kids entertainment in the bar - Place to leave baggage and have a shower if staying for a bit after checkout on last day. - Restaurant was busy but breakfast and dinner but very well run and we never had a problem with wait times for being seated or accessing food The ok - Room was basic but a decent size. - Shower had decent hot water and was powerful - No kettle. Not sure why I expected one to be there but there wasn't. - I saw a few reviews saying lifts were a problem. All fine for us. - I found the bed uncomfortable, son thought his was great - Ski locker room was OK but a bit small for the number of people The small niggles - Couldn't get the towel rail to work. I think it was faulty but there was always a chance it was my own stupidity. Reported twice to reception but nothing seemed to happen. Didn't really affect us. Towels were changed a couple of time during the week. - Only a couple of coat hangers were available on the rail - Room did have quite a 'lived in' smell. I expect it's all the sweaty ski socks, etc. Overall, if you don't expect luxury I think it's great. Main impression I got was it has a very good, family friendly feel. Very homely for a big hotel.

Fantastic central hotel just a few meters from the slopes at the top of a magic carpet. Facilities were great. Boot room was always empty ( so long as you avoid ski school time). Food was lovely. Free wine on tap with evening meal. All meals served as a buffet with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options every night. Really well run and efficient so no hanging around. At 5pm every evening down in the bar are free cakes and reduced rate hot drinks. Spa was adequate with a sauna, steam room and hot tub. Only used it once. Rooms had very comfy beds, a good amount of space and not too hot. We had a fantastic stay with amazing weather. Highly recommended.

The Hotel is very clean and the facilities are basic but sufficient. It is situated in a very good place and easy to get to the slopes. The food is good value for money and plenty of choice. The thing that stood out were the staff who were all fantastic and one big family. The reception team especially of Julian, Segelin and Lisa are a credit to their employers. Always professonal, courteous and polite. They were fantastic and always had a smile on their face, even during very busy periods. I cannot thank them enough for their help during my stay. Julan even fixed my broken ski goggles which was not on his to do list!! Thank you.

Generally really nice hotel. Lovely staff, very helpful. Food good and loads of choice, always salads and a few choices for main courses plus veggie options. You could come down anytime and there was always plenty. Would be great if there wasnt cream or cheese in so many dishes but hey i guess thats just France! (Im dairy intolerant!!). If you go all inclusive lunch was great too. Wine very drinkable you can have as much as you want with lunch and dinner. If you wanted a pack up you can request a box each day and make your own sandwiches or salad from the sandwich bar each day. Afternoon tea cakes also available. We got in late at 10 and there was a buffet laid out for late arrivals which was lovely. We went as a family group (no kids) Rooms good and warm, a couple of the mattresses were not straight making sleeping uncomfortable for a couple of my family ie collapsed to the side or in the middle but other than, basic but nice and clean. Would have liked either a kettle or access to hot water as there was nothing the rest of the day once breakfast closed, only buying tea or coffee in the bar! Spa nice, you get free access a few evenings and daytimes if you want, book in advance but we always got in. Sauna, steam and jacuzzi available. Ignore other reviews re lifts as there are 3 and all were fine, not crowded at all plus there are stairs available if you want them! If you've got children there was entertainment every evening for them plus stuff like ice creams available with meals. (For adults too). Would definitely visit here again. Thanks for a great stay.

The Hotel Club MMV Les Melezes is located centrally in Arc 2000. One side backs onto Olympic Square and the other towards the 'main' road. There is a cable car down to Arc 1950. The food was good with lunch or picnic included and free wine on tap. Whilst not vast, there was plenty of variety in food, with a salad bar and dessert counter, including ice-cream fridge. Tea and cake is laid on each day but you have to pay for the tea/coffee. Entertainment is laid on every night, especially for the kids. Our room was spacious, with safe and small tv but only French channels. The bathroom clean and the over bath shower, powerful. There is free wifi throughout the hotel, with enough bandwidth to stream tv. There are sufficient sockets but none at bedside. There is a sauna spa but you are only allowed 3 visits to the sauna and only one of those can be after skiing, i.e. after five o'clock. There is a ski locker room in the basement. Reception pointed this out There are ski racks that will easily fit 2 sets of skis and poles. You need a lock for the ski rack but these are available from reception. There is also a boot rack but these are insecure. Not quite ski in/ski out, it is a short walk to the start of the slopes and down some steps. There is also a travelator to return you to the same point.

Hotel very well located in the station. We loved the variety and high quality of local and organic produce at every meal. The only thing missing is a terrace to have a drink outside. We will come back.
