Paradise Lodge Arbaminch

We were recommended to stay at Paradise lodge by friends. Our expectation was exceeded from the airport pickup by Mestawet. Who greeted us with such enthusiasm and hospitality. As we arrived at the resort everyone from the doorman who took our luggage to the receptionist were very welcoming. All the restaurant staff , Wubalem and her team were above and beyond in their presence and service. We are truly thankful for the service. Room was very clean and comfortable. We will be back. Keep up the great work.

Without any exaggeration this place is nasty. The rooms are old and outdated. The shower is rusty and broken. The ceiling are literally rotten and about to fall down. The walls looks like painted by a kindergartners. The bed is so uncomfortable. It literally sinks down and covered with bugs. They don’t even have a bottle water in the room. There is empty mini fridge sitting in wooden pallet that’s covered with ants. The tv in one of our room doesn’t even turn on and the TV in the other room has static. There is no umbrella by the pool. There is no bar or drink available near the pool. The location is blessed with natural beauty but the lack of quality amenities and services makes it impossible to enjoy. Me and my family have to escape to Haile resort to eat food and spend a relaxing evening. This place has been neglected by the owners and sad to see the untapped potential

The place has a nice view and great compound. Has different amenities including swimming pool and gym. The pool is good but the gym needs a lot of updating. The rooms are also very old, they definitely need some renovation. Has a spa but the steam is always out of service.

Such a beautiful location with the best views ever, incredibly warm and helpful staff and great shop for stunning local fabrics. The food is good - nice breakfast buffet - and there is a funky spa for very vigorous massages. The swimming pool looks great (but I had too much work to enjoy it). Highly recommend - I will be back

My stay was absolutely amazing! The place is really amazing and breathtaking, it were top-notch, but what truly made it special was the incredible staff. From the warm welcome to the exceptional service, everyone went above and beyond. A huge thanks to Mekuwanint (the general manager) and the wonderful staffs BETHELHEM AWEKE, BETEHAT, DEMEKECH(TESFA), YESHEWAS, and KIDIST for their kindness and dedication. Since it was Ramadan, my friends and I were fasting, and they took such great care of us—preparing delicious Iftar and even waking up before us for Suhoor. Their effort meant the world to us. This lodge is more than just a place to stay; it’s a true example of hospitality at its best. Highly recommended!
