Summer Beach Hotel

The hotel was terrible. I have no words to explain how bad it was. Stay away!!!! The hotel was dirty and run down. The food area was dirty as well and the food disgusting. We had to stay there for one week and it felt like forever. I have nothing nice to say about this hotel.

Arrived at the hotel at 4pm.Asked to wait 10mins as change over of staff.We patiently waited with a couple who arrived at the same time as us.The other couple asked after waiting 20mins how long and was answered back with “I told you 10 mins”so rude.We actually waited for 30 mins. When we eventually booked in a chap showed us to our room (this took a while locating our room as the chap apologised and said he was the night porter and doesn’t normally do this) We were pleasantly surprised with our room. Very spacious and clean.The only problem was our kettle didn’t work (this took 3 days to get a replacement in which ended up with one of the cleaners sorting out as reception seemed to like asking you to pop back later) I also asked when we arrived if there were snacks as we were quite hungry and hadn’t eaten since 5.30am that morning.We were told there was fruit at the beach bar. From then on it went downhill.Our bed was made every other day (not changed once in our 11 nights)The throw was just screwed up and left on the dressing table after our first night.Fresh towels were left occasionally (which is fine) and loo roll replaced.No other cleaning was done in our room for the stay.We had no water for 3 days and was told to use the men’s toilet next to the beach bar to shower until it was fixed in which I refused as a woman to shower in a males public toilet which smelt.I woke one morning to go to the loo and our bedroom floor was flooded (the air conditioning unit had been leaking all night in our room) The beach bar closed at 6pm and the hotel told us we could go to 2 other hotels to have drinks (we were refused at those hotels as we didn’t have white wristbands) The all inclusive buffet which was in another building wasn’t great.The same things everyday and we often heard arguments between the staff.Myself and my husband both ended up with sickness on the 5th day and we’d both eaten the same in the restaurant. I had a second bout of sickness and diarrhoea a few days later. My husband was refused when asked if he could bring some toast to me as I couldn’t leave the room.Thankfully the manager agreed after my husband complained and asked to see the manager. We decided after being ill twice,we would just go and eat out as the whole experience was ruining our holiday. The lady with blonde hair in reception is very rude and so unprofessional. We had so many occasions where we had to go to reception due to problems that I could write a book.The evening before we were due to leave we arrived back to our hotel after being on the beach to find no towels.My hubby again went to reception and said we didn’t have towels and needed a shower (he was given 2 towels as that’s all the receptionist could find and she said I’m not a housekeeper) One of the towels was dirty. Overall I would say this is at best a 3 star and that’s for the size of our room. No entertainment,no drinks after 6pm unless you want to sit where the buffet is (in another building) More sun be

Great family hotel. Nice swimming pool, great rooms, perfect breakfast and dinner, great location with plenty restaurants nearby. We loved our stay in the hotel but I'd there is something that could be better it's that guests put their towels on the sunbeds very early morning. Sunbeds on the beach are 5 euro,would have been nice if they were included especially since it seems to be to few sunbeds in the hotel.

Me and my partner recently stayed at Summer Beach and had a lovely time. George in the cocktail bar was very friendly, so attentive and clearly takes pride is his job. One of the nicest people I have met. Also makes a fab cocktail so make sure you give him a visit. Overall we had a lovely stay and would go back if we were staying in the area again also a lot to do outside the hotel, shops, bars and restaurants you are spoilt for choice!!

Amazing stay at the hotel, rooms are so spacious and updated. Great food and nice experience. The service are really nice and food so delicious. Pool towels are available on payment of a deposit which is refunded on the return. I found the pool area to be clean and well maintained, plenty of sun beds and umbrellas there and on the beach. I enjoy my stay and will no doubt return in the future

Family hotel close to the beach. Nice and clean rooms with great View. The breakfast was great with Nice fresh fruit. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Thank You Summer beach for having a great staff. Also Valeria the front desk manager. Overall, this îs the Best hotel i have ever been to.
