The staff at the reception during check-in was very friendly and helpful. There weren't any disposable slippers when we checked in and thought it's part of the saving the earth efforts. Then there were no bath salts for the bath tub. To our dismay, one of the drinking glass was chipped. We were worried that the kids may cut themselves so I left a note to change the chipped glass before we left the room in the morning. Then we returned to a room with sllippers and bath salts and the glass changed. Wondering if the slippers and bath salts were a miss from the housekeeping or the hotel threw them in to compensate for the chipped glass. Anyway, the amenities were not replenished fully for the following days during the stay. Slippers were not replenished even when we threw away the dirty and wet ones. Bath salts were not replenished on certain days so such inconsistencies were not very pleasant for the price we paid for a high end luxurious hotel. A disappointment to be honest. Maybe Fullerton Hotel needs to retrain their chambermaids to be more attentive to the details to uphold the reputation of the hotel.

This location is at great location of Sydney, we can walk to Opera House, Queen Victoria Building and Sky Tower. The breakfast is good though the choice is limited. We had a dinner at the hotel too, yet the medium steak was overcooked.

Had a twin room with family. The hotel is quite disjointed with 2 lobbies. Very busy street to navigate in a vehicle and expensive valet. Multiple times we called the central service line to only have it ring out. When the phone was answered it took (in some cases) hours and repeated follow up to get 1 extra towel. Also we had to request larger doona's because the ones on the twin bed only just covers the top of the bed so as soon as you put two people in it, its not large enough t cover you. Concierge on checkout was hopeless. He didn't bring a trolley to help with luggage, then my wife and son manhandled the remaining luggage. I had asked for our car to be brought up and after waiting for 15 mins we were told it would be another 30-40 and would we be happy to tbe escorted to the parking garage? That was actually the most convenient in the end. Overall would not stay again or recommend.

Great location but a bit pricey for the hotel. Not quite certain it qualifies to be a five star hotel as I have stayed in many hotels across Asia and Middle East. Breakfast buffet was not up-to scratch to my standards. Omelette order is taken privately by the waiter rather than seeing your omelette jn action. Pastry variety was okay. There was no official coffee station as order is taken on arrival. Good this was children under 12 are free.

El hotel es un hotel con una ubicación ideal, y sólo pase a la calle y podrás saltar en un tranvía hasta el cuadrillo circular o hacia Broadway. El hotel era muy limpio, el hogar, los ascensores, las calles y la habitación. La cama extra para nuestro adolescente era muy incómoda y sin duda no vale la citada $110 por noche. La cama principal era cómoda, pero una de las piernas/rodas se rompió. La televisión principal en la habitación no funcionó en absoluto durante las primeras 24 horas de nuestra estancia debido a un ”defecto de red global”. Las botellas de agua de complimentación se llenaron sólo una vez en una estancia de tres noches, y los vidrios usados no siempre fueron sustituidos/lavados por el mantenimiento de la casa. El personal fue agradable, pero esperaba una mejor experiencia general de estar en Hilton Sydney.

We had a great stay in the hotel for a week. We loved the breakfast which was delicious and lots of choices. The location is so good and the staff were so friendly and polite and helpful. From the receiption to the housekeepers, the staff always smiled and said Hello to make us felt very welcome. We would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Sydney😀💯

No hay botellas de agua, sólo para los miembros de la prima, pequeña habitación de cama real, cafetera y bolsas de té sin marca no valen la pena de un hotel de 5 estrellas. No podía dormir debido al ruido de los coches aunque estuvimos en el 9o piso. Sin duda no valen el dinero.

Creo que me han cobrado $20 por un buque de hielo que pedí porque su refrigerador en el minibar no estaba lo suficientemente frío para refrigerar mis bebidas, sólo vi que en mi tarjeta de crédito después de que me eche la vista, que era inesperado pero bien, No me molesta rechazar, ya que fue una buena estancia.

The hotel is easily accessible from the train station (as it is a slight downhill). The staff, from being met with a wide smile by the concierge to the check-in staff, are friendly, professional and just a joy to interact with. The rooms are well appointed, bathrooms absolutely spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is good, but very few Asian options available. It should be noted that Google maps is not truthful about the fact this part of Sydney is ”mostly flat”... so walking shoes are a MUST as the hotel is so very close to a number of wonderful places to see, explore and enjoy a meal.

My first review on Trip and I don't usually bother to write reviews - shows you how much the hotel impressed me. We stayed for 1 night in Capella Sydney as a family of 3. The hotel facilities were absolutely amazing, decor was gorgeous and food options at Aperture and Brasserie were awesome. However, I won't dwell on these too much as I'm sure when you booked into a Capella brand hotel, you will already assume this as a given right? One highlight in terms of facilities though, was The Living Room, which is assessible to all guests staying in the hotel. It had beverages, snacks, comfy sofas and 6 star service. We spent so much time there chilling with our son and in the end it really became ”our living room”. Enough of that, let me move on to the service which blew our minds. I'll give you a few examples and hopefully you can see why I feel it would be criminal for me not to write a review. 1. On arrival when we got out of our car and the porters were helping us with our luggage, somehow they addressed me by name. Maybe it's because they saw I had a 2 year old and I was the only guest checking in that day with a small child. Still, I was super impressed. I've only experienced this previously at Aman hotels. 2. Upon checking in, Sophie (I hope I got your name right!) was super helpful and cheerful. When she saw my young son, she also proactively asked if we needed a later check out and if our son needed to nap. She immediately offered to give us 2pm late check out. However, having told her our son actually takes his nap at 2pm, she told us to come back and check with the front desk the next day and they can extend it till 4pm. Remember, I didn't request this, she did this completely out of her own initiative. 3. We didn't book dinner and Sophie referred us to Madiha of the Cultural team. Madiha took note of all our requirements, including the need for the restaurant to be 2 year old friendly, and within 15 mins emailed me a full list of restaurants and their menus for me to choose from while she also served us drinks and snacks at the living room. We eventually picked an Italian restaurant and she made the reservation for us. Fyi, it was scrumptious. 4. After breakfast, we were walking around the lobby and my son walked past the cakeshop and saw a raspberry tart. He really wanted it but I told him we just had breakfast. Ton (?)(I hope I got your name right, the Thai gentleman with a love for cars), the manager came up and said ”you can have the tart for free! It's on the house!”. I was stunned. He also spent so much time talking to my son and showing him pictures of cars, unbelievable. Shout out also to Matthew (uncle Hao Jun) for being so warm and hospitable to us. Honestly we were feeling so sad leaving the hotel as everyone felt like friends and family to us. One thing is for sure though, we will be back. Absolutely flawless service, kudos to the Capella Sydney team!
