This hotel definitely does not meet a 4-star rating; at best, it's a 2-star establishment. We stayed for one night, from June 22nd to 23rd, in a deluxe room with breakfast and dinner included. We booked this hotel because of its supposedly good reviews, and the price wasn't cheap either. However, we were shocked by what we found.
First, we were taken to a room where it was impossible to breathe due to a strong smell of sewage and mold. The furniture was swollen from moisture, the wardrobe had no doors, and tiles were missing from the balcony edge. After explaining this to the hotel staff, we were offered another room. Initially, it seemed much better – the smell wasn't as strong, and it appeared cleaner. But that was until we went to bed, as it turned out someone had already slept in the bed, indicated by the dirty and wrinkled bedding. After we showed them pictures, the hotel staff changed the bedding. Later, the toilet also started leaking.
The food itself was good, but our appetite disappeared once we realized the dishes were dirty, the plates were sticky, the glasses were grimy, and there were many flies crawling on the food. At breakfast, we weren't even offered water or coffee; it seemed this option was only for locals. It appeared there was one level of service for locals and a completely different one for foreign tourists. Upon further investigation of the reviews, we realized that approximately 90% of the positive reviews were from local residents, and the negative ones were from foreign tourists.
