Changbai Mountain Pureland Hot Spring Resort Hotel

A wonderful stay throughout. Front desk staff are friendly and accommodating to my request. Room is spacious and clean. Hot spring facilities are fantastic. One of the best I’ve seen during my north-eastern china trip. All the staff are friendly and made us feel welcome even though we only stayed 1 night as we have to leave for Harbin the next day. A huge shoutout to the 2 ladies who helped us during check-in. They have made our Changbaishan trip memorable and satisfying. Highly recommended hotel. But it’s a bit pricey nonetheless😄

The hotel is great as we the rooms and the hot spring directly in the hotel. Only the breakfast was not my taste.

The hotel is in a perfect location to reach all the main attractions. The thermal area is very nice and wide, though it gets very busy during the evening and there are many kids running and screaming around for who there is a dedicated area but they are not delimited to it. I understand it is a place for families but it would be better if specific areas, for example hot pools (above 40 degrees) and saunas were off limits for kids. The service staff doesn’t speak English but through specific devices and translation apps we were able to communicate. I contacted the property months in advance via Trip.com to ask if they could support me in purchasing the tickets for the Tianchi Lake or find a way to reserve/book them for me since the online reservation website is in Chinese and accessible by locals only. When I got there they told me the tickets were sold out and they were not able to get them for me and didn’t even know if it was possible to purchase them at the location. I understand this matter may be out of their hands but I’d expect the best hotel in the area to have a direct contact with the ticket office and a priority line for its customers (especially foreigners considering the inaccessibility to the online reservation page)

The Chang Bai Shan hot spring hotel is a great hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to visit! They have public hot spring pools that are clean with great amenities.  Around the hotel there is a ‘walking street’ with a great selection of shops within walking distance of the hotel, with a grocery store, a couple of restaurants and a gift shop.

Hotel room and toilet is very spacious and clean and also very grand. The hot bath also very good. The breakfast variety have a lot and delicious. However there is nothing nearby the hotel so if you want to eat something then you only can eat in the hotel.

The hotel is located in good location — very close to the community areas and tourist areas. Hotel staff is specially friendly and very willing to help. They recommended travel places and transportation. Hot spring facilities are good.

We had a great time at this hotel and enjoyed our stay very much. Especially the Hot Spring area is amazing. Sometimes it is a challenge to communicate in English. But I connected with Xiao Liu on WeChat and was always supported in a very helpful way. Thank you to Xiao Liu and the whole staff of the hotel for a very relaxing vacation.

Perfect location with very nice hot spring. The stuff is vary friendly. Language, breakfast und restaurant only Chinese. We like it, but not everyone. Close to the Train station analso ticket center
