Island Beach Hideaways

When we booked this vacation week last year little did we know how much we needed this trip. Our priorities were to have privacy, peace, & nature to enjoy. It did not disappoint! The owners have done an amazing job to create such a beautiful place. We enjoyed our daily beach walks, (Pomquet Beach Provincial Park minutes from our dome), our hot-tub, all amenities to use in our tastefully decorated dome & the beautiful birds & wildlife around us. We enjoyed feeding the hummingbirds:) The surprising thing is we had no mosquitoes or June bugs!! Having an on site little store too was awesome! We loved everything about this beautiful vacation week. I celebrated my birthday too & it was made extra special:)

Where do we begin, we have stay in each of the four domes at Island Beach Hideaways since they opened and if you want top notch quality and hospitality you will receive that and more. To cozy, elegant, a home away from home, to evening star gazing while soaking in the hot tub, to spectacular views, nature at your leisure, and so many add-ons to enjoy. You just have to add this beautiful place to your bucket list! 🥰💕💗🎉

This was such a relaxing and unique getaway. The domes are spacious, clean, and full of many ammenities to enjoy inside. Cozy interior, with fireplace, AC, tv, wifi, kitchenette, shower, super comfortable beds, bluetooth speaker, games, and a couch to watch the wildlife and lake. Amazing sunsets, so quiet and peaceful, and star gazing from the outdoor hot tub, which was soothing and sheltered from the wind. There is also a huge beach and hiking trails down the road closeby. I liked the many optional add-ons, the BBQ pizza - so tasty, fire table, smores, and kayaking around the lake was tons of fun. They put in extra effort to ensure I had an awesome experience, very friendly and super organized. Would definitely stay here again for multiple days, such a memorable vacation!

Absolutely amazing experience!!! Stunning area and the best service I have experienced! We went during a bit of a storm so we were unable to explore outside, but it did not affect the overall stay as the amenities inside were everything we could ask for!

My wife and I spent our 10th Anniversary in Nova Scotia and decided to include Island Beach Hideaways in our Itinerary. Best decision ever! Even before our arrival in NS, the communication with them was quick, clear and very accommodating. Every question and concern was answered and addressed. We arrived at night, and were pleasantly surprised by the layout and parking immediately behind our dome. Upon entering, we were both in awe. The spaciousness, the personal touches of heart warming decor, and mostly the cleanliness! We were convinced that our dome had not been previously occupied, and that the wonderful selection of furnishings, decor, and appliances were brand new for our use! Well that was not the case, but was a testament to the level of cleanliness and care that these accommodations are given! A lot of the decor is handmade by the owner/manager and reflects a warm, cozy welcome like no other. The location and proximity to the beach is very nice, a beautiful drive though very nice country neighborhood.. isolated, and quiet. Highlights were a morning canoe paddle on the inlet the domes sit on. The fall colors were spectacular and the water was like glass!! Wild birds and a family of Otters accompanied us as we paddled around the small island in the bay. Soaking in the hot tub, enjoying a glass of wine around the firepit, and star gazing under the rooftop dome cozy and warm were other highlights. The only thing we wish we could change, would have been more time here. Another day at the beach and just taking in the views on the deck would have been great. Next time, we will know to book an extra day to two. Thank You Island Beach Hideaways for an exceptional experience. We can't wait to see you again..

Island Beach Hideaways is a MUST for those looking for a unique luxury experience. Nothing was overlooked by the host and it was nice to see local products highlighted throughout the dome. We had the most memorable stay, sipping coffee and watching blue heron enjoy the lake in front of our dome was amazing. Highly recommend Island Beach Hideaway. Far exceeded our expectations for our first glamping experience and have set the bar high. Thank you to the host for their attention to the smallest details. We had a fantastic stay.
