We stayed for 2 nights at this hotel from Oct 18-20 in room 207. It was a busy time and the room was extremely expensive - over $500 per night for a crummy room. Unfortunately we won’t be returning even though we will be back to Annapolis many times in the next 4 years. First, there was a huge gap between the door and the floor, and light and air and noise came into our room. Friday night, the light kept me up for about 2 hours from 3-5 am. And on Saturday a loud wedding party was going on down the hall, with smoking! We are a nonsmoking family and I always request a nonsmoking room. Yet a strong smell of smoke permeated the hall and our room, as did the noise of people celebrating. We had to listen to people singing Pink Pony Club when we were in bed. There should not be rooms on the same floor as the event space. Second, the air conditioner didn’t seem to be functioning properly. It got incredibly hot overnight both nights. We tried to lower the temp but the lowest setting was 66 and the system simply shut itself off at 72, nowhere close to 66. This also interfered with our ability to sleep. Finally, the coffee in the lobby was very weak and there was no milk, only packets of creamer, which is honestly worse than what I would expect these days at a gas station. We won’t be returning to this extremely overpriced hotel.
