Stayed here with a family of 5 and so disappointed. My boys were super excited to swim in the pool.. which was closed. This was one of the amenities that were listed when we booked our trip and we were all looking forward to. When I asked why it was closed I was told it was closed all summer, due to 'Covid or something.' The place was pretty filthy, and smelled of stale smoke. The carpet was absolutely disgusting and made us not want to go without socks! There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The vents were covered in dust. There were also several areas of disrepair, including the wall around the thermostat, shower curtain,towel hooks, and cracked tiles. Also, no housekeeping was provided throughout our 3 night stay, even though the brochure in the hotel room said it would be. We had to take out our own trash and ask for fresh towels. When I asked about this they said they did not provide cleaning services due to Covid. Just for reference, this is August of 2022... Overall, not impressed and will not be returning.

Amazing place with good frindly staff ,good location, big rooms , I enjoy every time I come . We love it as a family, laundry room is big and having washing and drying also . Location comes close to everything, Braidwood mall , gas station, Walmart.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’VE EVER RECEIVED ALL THE WAY UP TO CORPORATE!!!!!! I booked my stay with ***********. Unfortunately I’m our way we got a flat tire and weren’t able to make it there. I called and canceled, spoke with manager the next morning who said he would reverse the charges for the room. Charges never got reversed. I reached out numerous times both by phone and email to manager with ABSOLUTELY no response. Reached out to corporate and got an email saying they will review this and get back to me. Never got a response. Made several calls to corporate who each time said they’ve left message with hotel. Now two and a half months later they are trying to tell me I had to cancel with ***********. And there’s nothing they can do for me other than tell me to email corporate AGAIN. I’ve spent hours on the phone with corporate and nobody can give me any answers. RUN clear of Sonesta and ***********. The funny thing is I originally chose the reservation that I wouldn’t be charged until arriving at the hotel. However my card was charged the morning of my reservation.

We booked the room for 3 people, 2 adults and a kid (a bed and a sofa). There were no sheets or pillows for the sofa, and when we opened the sofa we couldn't cross to the other area of the room. We asked the hotel for the sheets, and they told us they were waiting for the laundry. When we came back to the hotel at 10 pm, there were no sheets yet. They said they would provide them in half an hour. They never did, and we had to manage to cover the bed with clothes to sleep. In the morning we claimed the sheets in the reception. They said they will leave them in the room during the day. We left the hotel after 2 nights without the sheets. Also, they say there is breakfast service included in the price. It is laughable.

We booked a 2 "Bedroom"/2 Bath. They lay out is a small living room/kitchen, room w/ 2 queen beds and private bath, and an upstairs loft w/ a king and bath. Pros: The living area was barely big enough for a small full air mattress we brought. Kitchen was clean and had full fridge, paper towels, plates/pots/utensils. Beds/bedding clean and comfortable. Cons: The stairs and certain areas in the bedrooms had not been vacuumed. There was someone else's hair in the showers and bathroom floors. Corners had cobwebs. Ceiling fan was really dusty so we never turned it on. Walls were cracking/old. When we asked for extra bedding...they only had sheets and not blanket. Pool was not open (But assume that is still for Covid reasons.) The common outdoor walkways/stairs were really dirty with lots of cobwebs. This is definitely more of a motel at premium hotel prices bc of the location. This was our first time stay and had reservations for Parents weekend...which we have cancelled.
