Recently had a wonderfully relaxing 7 night stay at the Mitsis Royal Mare and from arrival to departure had a fabulous time. We were upgraded to a bungalow with a shared pool, which was excellent. Everywhere was kept spotlessly clean by the hardworking domestic staff. Food in the main restaurant was very good (although could perhaps have been a little hotter) with a wide choice to suit all tastes and the theme nights also excellent. We dined at the Pan Asian and South American a la carte restaurants and the food, drinks and service was excellent and thoroughly recommended. Special thanks to all the staff at the main bar (Minos), the main restaurant and the main pool bar, every single one of them were superb, just wish I had managed to get all their names to thank them personally. The staff here again, like all the Mitsis hotels we've stayed at are outstanding, friendly and professional and a credit to the Mitsis organisation. Thank you once again for a wonderful stay.

Las instalaciones de los hoteles estaban muy bien y el todo incluido fue una pasada...te daban crepes, pitas, sandwiches y gofres en el todo incluido a parte de la bebida... En cuanto a las habitaciones, una de cal y una de arena y es por eso que le he quitado una estrella a mi valoración, en mi 1ª habitación no tenia aspas que regulasen el aire acondicionado y uno de los botones de la bomba del vater tampoco iba. La segunda estaba totalmente reformada nada que ver con la otra habitación. Tiene 4 restaurantes, uno buffet y tres temáticos (restaurantes griego, italiano y asiático) para unas 7-10 personas únicamente. El personal muy majo sobre todo Karim el de la creperia.

We loved it. The view and ambiente were just fantastic and out of this world. As for the stuff, they are the kindest and most attentive people. Ah! And the restaurant Artemis was the highlight of our time at the resort. Even though the resort has several and different restaurants the food and attention at Artemis was so good that we made it our No. 1 place to eat for an entire week haha!!.. The only thing that as an allergic person made struggle a bit was the dusty furniture.

Accommodation: It was good and the rooms were kept very clean with a spacious balcony each. View weren’t anything to rave about but it was quiet as we were up the back end of the hotel. However, if you are allocated to the front end, you will hear nothing but endless “Baby Shark” from the hours of 1900-2100. We were ecstatic with our room allocation as this review would have been a 1 star for me if we were in the position of other unfortunate visitors at the front end towards the beach. Food: Now; read carefully, food in the “Main Hall” was excellent! There was so much variety. They really did cater for Brits, Dutch, Italians, and those who visit Greece for its local cuisine. It was delightful. However, the “A La Carte” was shocking! It was everything BUT an A La Carte. In all hosnety, it was a “False Illusion” to encourage you to pay for local Wine prices at €80 minimum under the pretence that you are entitled to a “FREE” A La Carte if you have paid for all inclusive. The food was literally from the night before in a smaller dish, carted down to you and tasted gopping. The fish, I attempted to slip to the cat beneath our table who turned its nose up at it also. My wife and I left after the main and went back to the main hall where we were met with fresh king prawn stands that were beautiful. I have dropped my review by a full star and a half because of this experience alone. It felt like we were being conned. Entertainment: Top/Back Pool & Bar: Lovely. Demeitri was the Greek version of “Del Boy”. He was very professional, could speak multiple languages and knew how to build a rapport with his audience and keep them happy on their holiday. Without him, the area would have been relatively boring. (For people wanting a relaxing time and Spa treatment.) Bottom/Front Beach Pool & Bar: Young. Lively. Semi- Rave like. All entertainment shows are displayed at the bottom for younger individuals wanting to party of have kids to entertain. It is well placed, a couple of steps and you are on the beach. (For those seeking a Party Vibe.) All inclusive Alcohol: “Interesting”.resort. Surroundings: The local community is around 30mins walk away but if you are into snorkelling there is some fantastic little coves around with plenty of fish to see in the wild.
