Cronwell Platamon Resort All-Inclusive

Worst holiday ever,dont waste your money. You have to take out your own trash and ask for clean towels which is ok if you dont pay for a ‘5-star’ hotel. Aircondition didnt work for 1 day and 1 night ,they dont even brother. You have to beg for water refill in the minibar. Dirty & Horrible experience.

This is far from being a 5-star hotel. Let's clarify the concept of all-inclusive: three meals a day, some included drinks, and snacks throughout the day (toast with cheese and salami and cookies sometimes). Every day from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, there are the same biscuits and sweets. I was with two kids, and throughout the day, the only food available for them was bread with cheese and salami or cookies from 5 to 6. Bottled water is not included and must be paid for. There are no glasses or even a kettle in the room to prepare something for a child if needed. Room cleanliness leaves much to be desired; by the fourth day, the dust on the nightstand had not been cleaned. The rooms are not renovated; only the superior rooms are, and they come at an extra cost. The food is practically the same every day. At exactly 6 PM, the pool and the beach restaurant close. There is only one person working at the beach restaurant, and one day I waited 20 minutes just to get something. Generally, if you want to drink something at room temperature, there is nothing available except for tea. I had completely different expectations from a 5-star hotel. By the way, almost all the lights in the pool are broken, which is very dangerous from a safety perspective. You could easily cut yourself badly. So, I do not recommend this hotel; they still have a lot to work on to reach a 5-star level.

Our vacation started as normal/good vacation but turned in SUPER time thanks to animation team and girls from beach bar! Best thanks to Andrej, Jan and Theresa from animation team and Angelika & Alexandra from beach / pool bar! They turned our nice vacations to something spezial - the same if it is a nice water polo game, aqua gym or specially mixed Frape with a smile or a tip in which club is the best music... If any hotel would have such team it would be a dream! Tipp for the hotel Management: great job done, you even improved your Resort with great team. THANK YOU! Small issue, if I have to search to one: Elevators are quite bussy, but it is nothing that could be improved - lot of guests with small kids with strollers.

It's vacation time of the year again and we decided to change places this time. Not that we were bored but just to have a new experience and try something new. And we were right since the resort is wonderful. The hotel per se is a large structure with rooms that all face sideways to the sea and sideways to the hills behind. There are a few villas as well close to the tennis and football courts. As for the pools, there are 3l of them (one indoors as well) and most of all there is a small aquapark within the resort grounds. This place is heaven for kids (and adults alike :-)) as the water toys and the pool is just playful and gives you a very happy vibe. As for the grounds in general there is a lot of trees and greenery that gives you a sense of being close to nature and provide quite a lot of shade to play and sit/lay down even in the hottest hour. Nice enough there is a small area with several games for kids and adults ranging from table tennis and billiards to all kinds of electronic games and several claw machines. Be ready to attend queues sometimes in the evening as every kid in the resort is trying to get a hold of the games and especially try to get something out of the claw machines. The beach is clean with rough sand and with small pebbles at the entrance of the sea which in its turn is a go between a shallow and deep one so its nice for all ages. The rooms are cozy and although some of the amenities might look somehow dated they are ok. The beds are comfortable and on the medium/hard side. AC works perfectly. Each room has an ample balcony with chairs and a table and has wonderful views as stated earlier of the sea, green hills and nice Greek beach villas. The bathroom is big with a bathtub and toiletries provided everyday. Towels are changed daily and the linen once in a couple of days. The entire establishment is air conditioned so you feel cool the entire time. Being an all inclusive resort the food is served in the main restaurant that has an opening to a nice garden as well. There are three bars that operate simultaneously in the beach, at the pool and in the lobby. Food is tasteful and different everyday. A lot of choices between meat, fish and vegetables as well as salads are served through lunch and dinner. Hands down one of the best resort restaurants I have been and big compliments to the chef and the staff in the restaurant. A couple of nights there were Greek grill nights with specialties like kontosouvli, souvlaki, gyros and so on. Breakfast has ample of choices between cold cuts, eggs, cheeses and vegetables. There are fruits on each meal and drinks you can get from the distributing machines. Local beverages overall but they are ok. The beer is really nice and cold all the time. For hard liquor if one might fancy during the lunch or dinner you have to go to the lobby bar and get it from there. The staff is wonderful as well and I can not point anyone out as everyone is super friendly and ready to assist you with any need

I stayed in this hotel for 1 week. The mattresses were very bad and old, comfortless. The food was the worst thing possible, everything tasteless, and repetitive. For the children, there was nothing but pasta and soup, which was a scandal. There was no grilled food, mostly boiled food. The desserts were even worse. The sea was just ok. The pools were fair enough. Splash park was the nicest . Sunbeds at the beach were really old, while a la carte (with payment) sunbeds were fair. Animator team was super. Victoria at the bar was so kind and helpful. Staff was Okay.

Terribly organised place!! There was hair on my towel and bath when I got there. The staff were so rude and unhelpful. The splash park was out of use and full of dirt without even a barrier around.
