Walnut Tree Pahalgam

Walnut tree is a nice property on the bank of Lidder river. Rooms are clean, few are with great view of mountains. Moreover the kitchen is great! We had good food for breakfast and dinner. It was our daughter’s birthday when we visited the property; they made beautiful arrangements. All personnel were so welcoming since beginning.

Stayed at Walnut tree for a night with my family. Though the hotel is about 13/14 km from pahalgam main market but the location is good and in front of River Lidder. The hotel is small but clean and well maintained. All the staff persons are very friendly. We had buffet dinner. Though the menu was simple but it was very tasty . Same with breakfast. The hospitality provided by Mr Shabbir in the restaurant was good. Overall, a pleasant and memorable stay!

no ambiance at the hotel and rooms are congested . Regular power cuts.... No regular hot water. overall it's not satisfactory

The property is located at a great location, in front of jhelum. I booked the deluxe premium room, which did have a view from the window but the putty of the walls had started falling off. The room is actually smaller than the photos. Food is great, and the staff of good too. Power cuts is frequent, hence hot water is not available always.

Our family had an amazing stay at walnut tree, pahalgam. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking! the kids loved playing in the garden while we enjoyed our morning tea with a beautiful mountain backdrop. The staff was very kind and always ready to help.

We stayed here for a night in february, and it was an amazing experience. The location is quiet and beautiful, away from the city chaos. The hotel provided us with extra blankets and heaters, making the chilly weather super comfortable. The staff treated us like family, ensuring our kids were always comfortable. The view from our room was breathtaking, especially in the morning with fresh snow. Definitely coming back next winter.
