Everything was excellent. Except the world loudest door on the dorm room. A simple slow moving door closer would solve this. Unfortunately 3 terrible nights sleeps as a result of a small oversight.

Super great hostel! Loved it very much. The location of the hostel is really convenient and you could basically go to major attractions in Amsterdam by walking for a few minutes like the red light district, the Dam square and more importantly the Central station.
Though it is a large room that has quite a number of residents, everyone respected each other’s privacy and they did not make loud noises.
The receptionists were super nice and helpful and they spoke good English.
I would definitely recommend this place to y’all.

Muy recomendable, barato y céntrico, vive la experiencia de las habitaciones colmena Staff de recepción muy amable y muy paciente. Peter y David en recepción se portaron muy bien cada vez que necesitaba algo y me hicieron sentir como en casa

Fue muy cómodo y con un personal muy amable y atento en todo momento. Además tienes el bar dentro del propio hotel lo que hace que pueda hablar con muchos huéspedes y pasar un buen rato. Y además tienen cerveza, por lo que siempre es bien.

I went for an earlier check in and they refused taking a day to reply so I tried to move my booking. They refused again even though they had rooms and at a higher price. In the end, I had to cancel my booking and they refunded nothing. They are not customer friendly at all. Definite a 1 star experience.

Bar lady short changed us then was so rude . Atmosphere aggressive not helped by staff would avoid this place like the plague and watch your change...when challenged just got a total mouthful of abuse...also this bars beer was like room temperature
