Sadda Pind, Amritsar is like a traditional live Punjabi village in an area of 12 acres., situated about 8 km from the Golden Temple. The area gives us a taste of authentic Punjabi culture, traditions, food, and lifestyle. There is replica of a rural Punjabi village with mud houses, courtyards, wells, and handicrafts and magic shows etc. The restaurant has the traditional Punjabi thali, with makki di roti, sarson da saag, lassi, parathas, jalebi, and other traditional dishes served in a dhaba-style restaurant. The restaurant and the food is very traditional and tasty. There are also area where we can also dress up in the traditional Punjabi style o Wear a turban and take picture. There are also areas for shopping Handicrafts, juttis (Punjabi shoes), phulkari dupattas, souvenirs. We understand there is Heritage style rooms for overnight stays. We enjoyed the visit and it is a vist to Punjab in a capsule.

went with friends to spend an evening very well designed , we get a complete feeling of a village here, liked the magic show at the entrance, played some free games, the bow arrow game was not set well. our tkts included buffet dinner, not much choice, they can improve quality of food, the staff are extremely friendly. the shops inside sell locals goods like slippers, clothes, they seem expensive. must visit in Amritsar.

Don’t waste your money it’s not a great experience, 850 for a few shows the best experience out of all was the pit stop car and bike show, the food was ok Ok and a set menu was provided nothing special better to waste your time shopping than 6 hrs sitting around being bored out of your head, cost and experience value together with 1500 to get to the pind location was in total 3200, you are honestly better off going to the jaliya wala bhag and temples as these are truly what real Amritsar is

Memorable tour @ पैसा वसूल 👍 We stayed from 28 to 30th October 2024 . Sadda Pind = Our Village = हमारा गाँव If you are born and brought up in urban setting you will have a unique experience of traditional Punjabi village , and even if you are from a village background this place will hit a chord on your nostalgia as it start from pulling up water from the village well , to have the taste of Makki Ki Roti , Bazare Ki Khichdi ,tractor ride & bullock- cart , fun of Bhangra and Giddha folk dances , a hand on earthen pot making ( कुल्हड़ ) as well as a Handloom machine of village weaver few to mention ; Although this place is in the City but is far away from the hue & cry of the city ; so this quality was a bonus point for us too !! Size of room, supporting services and different fun & frolic for children as well as grown- ups ; like Kathputli dances, Bioscope,Jadugari , different rural music instruments etc had indeed enriched our stay beyond our imagination !! In my opinion ; at the given price ; it is the cheap & the best bargain for the tourist like us who want to have something कुछ हट के !!!

Entry Rs 850 includes food. Children above four feet charged as adults, those less than four feet pay Rs 700 Ample parking Spread out open air space, laid out as a village in Punjab There are shows organized at different intervals which include a magician, bazigar, gatka show, cycle show, motorcycle in a well etc. All the performers request for a tip at the end of the show. Each show lasts for 15-20 minutes Coupons are given to play games free which are mainly for children and are not great. There is a Potter at work, person for head massage etc. There are village houses, village cinema, turban tying, weaver etc. There is a tractor ride for additional cost. Dining hall is air conditioned and a vegetarian buffet is served. The moment you leave the dining hall after food, your wrist band is removed by the guard so that you don't eat food twice. Total time required approximately 2 hours
