Gerasa Hotel offers a decent stay with its excellent service. The staff is very helpful, and the rooms feature comfortable beds and decent-sized bathrooms. The air conditioning is effective, making it a welcome respite after a long day of sightseeing. We appreciated the convenience of the provided breakfast and dinner buffets. However, the breakfast offerings were virtually identical each day, becoming somewhat repetitive. The dinner buffets also featured a largely consistent selection, including a wide array of salsa and pickles, 4-5 carbohydrate side dishes, and a main course such as chicken with rice or grilled chicken. A variety of desserts was also available, though drinks were not complimentary. Compared to other accommodations during our Jordan tour, Gerasa Hotel stands out as a good option. One notable aspect is its location near the University of Jordan, which means the surrounding food options are primarily Western/Americanized fast food.
