What an incredible gem in the loire valley. If you want a very beautiful chateau experience this is the place to be. We went during their shoulder season (November) and it was quiet and lovely. Although there weren’t many amenities open during this time we were treated really well and the owner Olivier provided us with transport options and dining recommendations in the area. The staff were so so nice and accommodating. Olivier shared some stories about the chateau and answered the million of questions we had with enthusiasm. We were exposed to the teams absolute passion for the property. The interior is stunning with a perfect blend of original fixings and new design. The rooms itself was simple with gorgeous views all around. The bathrooms were modern and everything was very clean and well kept. What a wonderful chateau experience!

This is a beautiful and historic building which went through an extensive renovation and became a hotel with great charm and character. No details have been spared and its indoor decor reflects the testimony of a classical style in the 21st century. The hotel is well located and only walking distance from the town centre where shops and restaurants can be found. Off street car park is available.

Hotel was selected by Trafalgar as part of a northern France tour. Room satisfactory and was able to sleep well. There is not enough lifts so had to go down with stairs or wait a while but used lift to go up. Water is provided in the corridors where you can fill up your water bottle from the dispenser at the end of the corridor. Breakfast which is a buffet was satisfactory. Hotel is somewhat distant from the nearest convenience store or bar. There is a pool at the hotel which appeared popular given the warm days experienced. Staff were polite and courteous.

Me alojé por tres noches y quedé muy satisfecho. La ubicación es buena, tranquila, a poca distancia del centro de la ciudad y del castillo. La habitacion es muy confortable. El estacionamiento estaba en el patio. No pude entrar. El personal salió a ayudar cuando lo vieron. El desayuno no es muy rico, pero toda la comida es de gran calidad. Se recomienda pedir una cena allí. Está delicioso y el servicio es excelente. La habitación familiar seleccionada tiene un sofá cama que se puede abrir para dormir, que es muy espacioso.

Lovely Boutique Hotel-about 10 rooms -in Amboise in the Loire Velley A perfect home base from which to tour the valley. Great location-3 blocks to the center of town. Rooms are decent size, King bed with desk and a very nice sitting area. Nice mixture of antique furnishings with modern. Bathrooms are new and also nicely sized with large shower and a tub. We had a room on the third floor in the back of the hotel overlooking the garden and pool with views of the Chateau Royal Amboise. Excellent maid service in the morning. A wonderful buffet breakfast is served at 17.50 Eu per person, but you can easily walk into town and eat at one of the wonderful cafes which typically open around 9:00. Sylvie, the manager was wonderful and attended to all our needs. if yuou come in your own car, parking is a little tricky. There are public lots and spaces all over town but you have to find a spot by yourself. There is no real off street parking for the hotel itself. We stayed for five days and would stay again. Some of the rooms are a little smaller. When you book be sure to ask the size of the room. They are prices naccordingly.

Muy buen hotel castillo, muy cómodo desde el castillo hasta el jardín. El restaurante del hotel es un restaurante con estrella Michelin, que se puede reservar el día que vamos, y es una cena estupenda.
