Taking a Greek cooking with class with Stella Fyrogeni on the island of Paros was truly one of the highlights of our trip! Stella-chef, owner of the inn and restaurant, was absolutely delightful. Her warmth, humor and deep knowledge of Greek cuisine, passed down to her from family members, made the experience both fun and incredibly informative. We learned to make a variety of traditional dishes using local ingredients, and the hands-on approach gave us the confidence to recreate them once we returned home to Portland. Oregon. The recipes Stella shared have become fan favorites in our kitchen-each one a delicious reminder of our time on the island. I only wish we lived closer so we could cook with Stella every week. If you are visiting Paros, this class is a must-do. Come hungry and ready to learn. You won’t regret it!
