Il Nascondiglio - The Hideaway

This was a another return visit for us to the Hideaway. We vowed to return again after our last visit. We stayed in Garden View appartment this time and it was just perfect. We stepped out of the appartment in the morning, to have breakfast on our patio, facing the spacious garden with only the sound of birdsong - it was just perfect. We enjoyed home made bread left by Mark, and delicious jam made by Sarah, as well as some other lovely goodies which were waiting in our appartment. As usual the owners were on hand to recommend restaurants and things to do. They have thought of everything when equipping the appartments, although we decided not cook as there are fabulous restaurants a short drive away. This hidden gem is a haven for nature lovers. Although not our first visit, it certainly won't be our last!

I had reason to return to this stunning part of le Marche and had no hestitation in bookong a stay at The Hideaway. The hosts Sarah and Mark welcomed me like an old friend and, as usual, were on hand to answer questions and provide recommendations. The beautifully well kept garden is the most tranquil and relaxing place to sit and unwind. The only noise you will encounter here is bird song. This time I stayed in a different room, which was just as well equipped and spotlessly clean as the apartment where I stayed before. The bed was so comfortable and I slept like a baby! Sadly I wasn't there long enough to explore all the villages that I wanted to, so I am planning to return very soon. I wouldn't look for anywhere else to stay as the The Hideaway is just perfect.

I am not sure why the previous reviewer said what he did, I can only assume he had some other agenda. This is the third time we have visited this delightful holiday retreat and it came up trumps again. Mark and Sarah are impeccable hosts, nothing is too much. They have great local knowledge including dining out, hiking, local events and entertainment. We had a fun filled week with delicious food and beautiful countryside walks and mountainbiking.  Thank you both of you, we'll be coming back.

An absolutely wonderful place in a wonderful landscape! The apartment is warm, tasteful and totally clean. And Mark as a host is the best and second to none! We felt at home like we haven't in a long time! We would love to come back! Sarah and Mark are brilliant!!!

My daughter and I stayed at the Hideaway earlier this month to attend a Memorial Even being held in Servigliano. Our accommodations were very comfortable in the beautiful mountains in Amandola. Best of all, Sarah and Mark were the best and most responsive hosts I have experienced on a trip. They took care of us like family!!! HIGHLY recommend this gorgeous hideaway.

This really is a wonderful place to stay. Tucked away down a romantic country road in gorgeous countryside, the guesthouse is full of character and exactly as peaceful and quiet as you want it to be. I stayed in a suite with self catering kitchen which was perfect for me, and the place was excellently stocked up with utensils so I could easily cater for myself. The garden, gazebo and small pool were even better than I expected, and meant I was perfectly happy to while away a few hours in the day not doing much. Sarah and Mark are fantastic hosts. Extremely friendly and hard working, and they also really care if you're having a good time. Any issues that may arise (which for me they didn't) they'd be on hand straight away to sort out. Sarah bakes wonderful cakes which you may be lucky enough to sample. I also had to work online for 2 days of my stay. The WiFi and connectivity were excellent, and the communal terrace was a really lovely setting to work. I highly recommend staying. Jonny
