"Cinco duchas compartidas para 27 habitaciones no parecen óptimas. Limpiar esas duchas después de que un huésped las use por la mañana es demasiado pedir. Usé la boquilla de la ducha de mano para empujar la mayor parte del vello corporal del/de los huésped(es) anterior(es) hacia el desagüe antes de empezar a ducharme. Fue algo menos que delicioso. El perro corriendo por el hotel de hielo y hociqueando agresivamente las pieles de ciervo en los trajes de lujo no fue óptimo. No creo que el perro hiciera sus necesidades en nuestra suite, aunque olía como si lo hubiera hecho. Idealmente, este no es el tipo de cosas en las que yo, como cliente, disfruto pensando. La capacitación del personal fue de cero sobre diez. La comunicación previa a la estancia fue de cero sobre diez. Había un chico griego en recepción que era agradable y amable. Parece que la mayor parte del día se dedicó a atender quejas de los clientes."

"Great serves and wonderful staff. Booked a room for a friend's bachelorets party, she loved it. The room were spacious and the bed was soft. The restaurant had amazing food, the staf was so nice and made shure we had everythingwe needed. We had an amazing evening. We felt they went above and beyond every step of the way."

Bjørnfjell Mountain Lodge ★★★

"We stayed for 6 nights at Bjornfell, in one of the lodges. The beds were super comfy, and we had a kitchen and fabulous bathroom. The breakfasts are buffet style, and they will cook eggs as you request. Not huge choice but enough for everyone to choose something they like, including lovely bacon and beans ! Dinner is a set menu for the week, there are daily specials but the choice is a bit limited. Kids have a choice of 2 meals or one off the main. The trips they organise are amazing- the trip to the top of the mountain , dinner over a fire watching the aurora was fabulous. We also enjoyed tobogganing and the kids loved playing in the snow. Lots of areas for them to sledge and play. Everyone we met has been super helpful and friendly, really great service and nothing is too much trouble. They organised all our transfers to all activities for the week, including some late night pick ups. They also hired us snow gear for the week. It’s been a great base for us in Alta and would recommend for a lovely isolated break in the snow"

"The room was okay, not luxury, but ok. The restaurant and food was not that, what we suggest. You will habe no card by table and have to order in standing before a screen, where we Swiss People has to tranlsate the norwegian text (was there english text? I dont know yet) by handy. Even when I asked the person behind the bar, they couldnt explain us, what we want to know. For a salad you have to order and pay salad sauce extra. The folk behind the bar didnt realize and ask us, if we want a sauce. As wie realized and ordered it, we didnt get salat sauce, but instead a mayonaisse sauce. Never ever eat again here."
