Preston Palace

Excellent place to go on vacation with the family. Worth every penny. Room for 6 people could have been demarcated though.

We are happy specially my daughter, every year we are there. So we will be back again next year. Or maybe before the end of the year. Food, rooms, facilities are great.

We have been here many times before and we like the place more each time we visit. There's nothing to complain about We really enjoyed our stay. We will be back later this year.

It was a nice visit and a lot to explore and eat and nice with live music. Would be good if there were more lockers for the bag if you stay a bit after 11 o'clock.

On one hand there is kind and helpful staff, good food, lots of things to do, a cozy swimming pool area and bumper carts, but on the other there is a wide gap between room doors and bathroom doors and the floor taking away much of the privacy, the worn down bed sheets and a surprise charge for pool snacks.

There's alot to say so will try to keep it short. Did an overnight from Sunday to Monday for my wife's birthday. Let's start with the good. The food and drinks are great. Plenty of food options whether you choose buffet or a la carte. Breakfast and lunch is buffet style at Ribbleton and then for dinner we opted for a la carte. The buffet food at Ribbleton was plentiful and well prepared. Some common Dutch favorites with a few other options also. Dinner at Midtown was also great but I couldn't eat much as I was super full from lunch and snacks in between. There are bars everywhere you look where you can order anything they stock. Plenty of snack options scattered around the hotel as well. Plenty to do here also, I'm not going to list everything but you can easily spend 3/4 days here and not get bored. We enjoyed the karaoke which went on till 1am. The place is not touristy at all, in fact it's mainly locals. On the negative side the indoor kermis is uncomfortably hot, not sure if the aircon was broken. Also my wife and 8 year old were on a ride which got stuck and it took about 10 minutes to get all the people off. A bit traumatic for them both and we chose not to return to the kermis. Rooms are really spacious with all the essentials you need. A few added touches like something special at dinner for a birthday celebration would be great. Despite some issues we would return. We found it to be value for money and its a nice indoor location for winter.
