The Ledges Resort & Marina

The Loon cottage was great! The unit was well equipped and comfortable. Not a fan of the pebble floor in the bathroom. And we were never able to get the electric heater to work in the bathroom either. But overall a good stay.

Very clean cottage with all the amenities. We had a two bedroom. Coffee was supplied. The surrounding grounds were immaculate and decorated for fall. Location was close to everything, restaurants, the water, small grocery store and a laundromat.

Our family of 14, ranging in age from 18 months to 89, stayed in both cottages on the water. Everything was perfect! The grounds were beautiful with plenty of outdoor areas to play and relax. Management was pleasant and attentive. The cottages had everything we needed and were very clean. The views were stunning. We will be back!!

Can not recommend this place enough. From booking to checkout the service was great. The grounds and cottage (we stayed in The Heron) are beautiful. Next time we come (and there will be a next time for sure) we will stay longer so we can enjoy more of the amenities.

Our family of 3 stayed at the Heron Cottage. It was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen for breakfast and some lunches. We even grilled for dinner one night. There was NOTHING missing from the kitchen-we had everything we needed and more. My only criticism would be that they couldn’t seem to get the bathroom latch repaired properly. It broke during our stay and they quickly came to repair but it still didn’t work. We decided to just deal with it. I let the staff know when we checked out. We also had some trouble figuring out the tv. It didn’t seem to have the standard channels-Some nights we couldn’t sit outside because the weather wasn’t the best so we tried to find something to watch. Overall, we loved it here and when in the area again, will try to stay at the Ledges. The view is breathtaking!!

Beautiful grounds with AMAZING view. Property is extremely well kept. Owners are welcoming and accommodating. Cottages are clean, comfortable and supplied with absolutely everything one will need. We frequent the area multiple times a year. I will stay here going forward. The attention to detail is out of this world. They supply kayaks, fire pits with stocked wood, canoes. Grills are clean and maintained. Landscaping is beautiful. Grounds have many varieties of annuals and perennials. There is a little book library as well. Each year we notice new updates. The owners clearly take pride in what they do. I can sit back and relax and not have to worry about a thing. Property is close to town, but just far enough away to enoy the quite calmness of the River. I listen to the wildlife each morning and night. There is a little park with swings and basketball hoop within walking distance as well as a locally owned general store. High end shampoo and conditioner are provided as well. Organic cleaning supplies are provided, which I love. I Truly can not think of a negative thing to say. We look forward to many future stays at the Ledges. -Angela Burns
