Nice room. Location is a bit inconvenient. But worth staying.

Nice spacious rooms with full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove and microwave. Only drawback is they charge $10 day for parking. Stayed here a couple of years ago and there were no parking charges.

The front desk manager was extremely rude to her staff while I "waited" to check in. The foolishness continued when another worker called her a fat b-tch. I thought I was going to have one hell of a night but I was given a very nice room which is more like a studio apartment, clean as a whistle, with everything I need, and a great breakfast in the morning. Great turn around.

Date of stay:  Fri June 28th.  Room 305 & 107 Our room (305) was very spacious. It had a sofa, a chair, a full desk, dressers, closets, and a full kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, dishes, stove, etc.  The king bed was very comfortable. The sheets were in great shape, with four large fluffy pillows. The bathroom is spacious, clean, and bright.  The shower head is very high, which is excellent for tall people.  Overall, the room is very comfortable, clean, and enjoyable. I would stay here again.  Someone in our party has trouble sleeping in hotels but slept like a baby here.   The hotel has a 24-hour fitness center and a pool, which is open until 10 pm. Breakfast is complimentary and includes cereals and waffles, scrambled eggs, bagels, (pork) sausages, etc.   The hotel is also pet friendly - check their policies before booking, but we saw many dogs.  The hotel charges $10-ish  for parking with a lot that can only be accessed by key cards. If you book more than one room, let them know you only need parking for one vehicle. Check your bill in case they charged you for more.  Otherwise they are happy to refund if a mistake occurred    The staff are very friendly, pleasant, upbeat, and engaging.  The front desk staff at check-in was extremely busy due to the hotel being fully booked when we arrived, and she maintained a smile and pleasantry the whole time. Never once did she look frustrated or stressed.  Morning staff couldn't have been nicer.  The front desk staff was super cheerful, friendly, and engaging. The breakfast staff were very nice and friendly as well. Everyone was very upbeat and pleasant.

In town for family function and then a power failure happened. So this local TownePlace to the rescue! Rachel at the front desk was the best! Very friendly and informative! We come to Albany often but she was still helpful. The place is old and a bit worn looking but well kept and very clean. Our room was immaculate, spacious and sunlit AND was serviced on request our 2nd day by who turned out to be the actual housekeeping supervisor! Raquel was visibly very busy but happily cleaned our room beautifully on request with a smile and great humor included! Breakfast in the morning was delicious with a friendly gentleman who's name I can't recall. He was great! We usually frequent Hamptons in this area but we will return here next time and hopefully receive the same service!

Horrible. Good luck finding the entrance. As a Marriott member I was so disappointed. This was a business trip and the internet did not work ( read other reviews) . We were given a 800 number to call for help. When we called the desk to explain the 800 number was not helpful we were pretty much told this was all she could do and she had a terrible attitude. The fact that they have a 800 number says it all. We did get a survey from the company they outsource tech problems to, I guess thats cheaper than fixing the problem.

Room and common areas were clean and tidy. But a string of eye rolls: furniture is a little worn, mattress didn't quite lay flat on the bedframe, one of the two elevators shook from side to side, parking is $10/night, wifi didn't work in the lobby nor the room for either me or my partner ("call our tech support line," the front desk suggested). It was fine for a night, but I won't be back.

0/10 would not recommend. There was blood on the comforter, blood on the lamp shade by the desk, white stains on the couch, and the microwave was broken. It was gross! To top it off, the general manager was very passive aggressive and rude!

We selected this hotel since it had free EV charging. Upon checking in they notified us that it was no longer free…after being plugged in for 2 hours and only adding about 50 km worth of range, the total cost was up to $6. We quickly unplugged as this was not a realistic/reasonable rate. This was frustrating as the next morning we had to charge elsewhere and delay our road trip. The hotel website still indicated that this location still had free charging, so they at least need to update that information! On top of all that, the TV in the room did not work. My husband is pretty techy and he was not able to fix it. We called the front desk and asked for them to fix it, but they said they didn’t have anyone who could fix it that night. We asked for a room change, but they claimed the hotel was full. Also, there were a couple of homeless people yelling and hanging out front when we pulled up to the hotel, so that was a bit unnerving. So with the charger not working/being free and no TV, we will definitely not recommend this hotel, nor stay here again.
