Excellent stay. The staff was very friendly. On the day of the cruise, it was my birthday and they even arranged a surprise cake cutting session. The food was good, although the menu in lunch could have been better. Most important thing is that they were very punctual. Things to improve: 1. Ac could have been better 2. One or 2 small cockroaches were seen in the bathroom. 3. Lunch menu can be improved with some chicken/non-veg item. They only gave fish. Apart from the above, all were good. Guests who are planning to book, please book with full time ac.

Stayed one night, 24th July, 2023. Booked SDLX rooms through MMT. It's a smallish hotel, around 20 odd rooms. Rooms are spacious, clean with good AC. Has an inhouse restaurant, but may be due to being peak off-season the kitchen wasn't full throttle, offering only a few dishes. Now I come to the most important thing about this hotel... it's location. It's right on the main backwater canal. The common verandah on the 1st floor of the old block, looks directly on the canal way. The annual Nehru boat race starts from here. Had a pleaseant 2 hr morning boat ride. The boatman was one Arun, a five star for him also. Got a chance to witness the practice sessions of two boat clubs. Recommend stay.

At Royal Park their country food is super, good taste and cleanliness is their high light... They have been maintaining this for years.. Fish curry meals and morning country breaks are no exception.. They have no compromise in cleanliness.. They don't encourage vloggers, it's a 3 star hotel that doesn't push bloggers

Property's location is in a suitable one. No worries for night stay even. Food is good and room services are also good. Boat's staff are also very co-operative. what we paid in high amount was not being provided to us. When asked, the staff were referring that those room with exterior is in other boat, and is under maintenance as i made selection of that particular room in high amount, i shouldn't be given those lame excuses, otherwise, all good here.

Overall average stay, rooms are small and cozy. Hardly any place left if you have two big trolley bags with you. There was balcony in the room which was of no use because there were lot of big red ants in balcony all over the area due to which we didn't opened the balcony door even once. The house boat or shikara ride point is nearby the hotel only that is the plus point. If the balcony area was clean then we could have got a nice backwaters view from the hotel. The management should take care of the cleanliness in the room. Towels provided were not upto the mark, very rough and old towel it seemed.
