The hotel was amazing. The staff .the food. It was always clean. The hotel is about 2 1/2 hours away from the airport but it was well worth the journey. The small bus has drinks and stops on the way to the hotel half way. The pool was a little cold but it was clean . Beach front room waking up to this was stunning. The massage had twice .staff spoke to the hotel guests even if they didn't have the massage .there is doctor on site. Lifeguard. Safety for kids swim life jackets. Going to go back soon. Love how you all look after the stray cats. Try the chicken shop best chicken ever .

Where to start over the road from a beach, food was good. Even eat cauliflower cheese and I dont normally like it ( thought it looked like lasagne/moussaka that's why I put a load on my plate. I did half board but there are different options. Sat in the main high street so close to shops. Shop next to hotel fantastic very nice man not push like some. Best of all was the staff could not fault any of them good standards in the food ( I'm a catering manager) so food is big one for me. Hotel is very clean. Ladies that cleaned my room were lovely more so after my health condition had a flare up while there so didn't feel like leaving the hotel for a could of days. Spa that does hammam turkish bath was 10 € or 400 turkish lira . There is an on site doctor if needed. I'd packed all my own medications so didn't need this service all in all even being unwell I had a very good week. In Alanya not sure about other parts of Turkey it being my first visit does take and currency even asked if I wanted to use pounds of dollars but most shops are marked in euros and Tl.

Been few times to eftalia down town hotel amazing location right next to the beach, restaurants, shops etc. Food at the hotel is pretty decent really enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. Staff are friendly apart from the manager at the hamam found him rude and very pushy always in your face. Other than nice budget hotel would highly recommend.

I have been to this hotel many times and it is my go to hotel in Alanya. I know the Eftalia Company has a number of hotels far more suited to children but this hotel is not suited to be packed full of children who are disorderly and unsupervised. I am not opposed to a few kids but this time they were throwing other peoples property around, fighting, lazing around the corridors and seen a child trying to drown another one because there was no kids supervision from either the hotel or parents that might be expected at Eftalia’s other all inclusive hotels. This hotel does not have the facilities to serve large numbers of children

The location for this hotel is second to none. We arrived in the middle of the night after a long day travelling. We were checked in quickly and arrived at our spotlessly clean rooms. We have 2 twin rooms, next door to be near to the teenage kids. Both rooms are identical with side sea view balconies and air con. The bathrooms look recently renovated, and the bedrooms were slightly more traditional in decor but a good size to base ourselves from. This is our second time staying at an Eftalia property and we booked it because we trusted the brand. We were really happy with the facilities including the outdoor pool, beach bar and the Turkish Baths. We booked the Hamam twice whilst here for the 4 of us. We also added on treatments including full body massage and reflexology. We loved the location and the friendly staff. We booked half board, the buffet dinner was a plentiful selection suiting even the fussy eaters amongst us! Overall we will be back - it's been super!!

Arrived early in season, mid March. After a long 7 hour flight delay was greeted by an unfriendly and unhelpful man in reception late evening, which wasn't a great first impression!!. Bedroom and bathroom were fine and also cleaned regularly. Breakfast was pretty poor, underwhelming and limited. Comfortable and spacious inside lounge area and outside pool area with adjoining bar at reasonable prices. Busy road and beach right outside hotel but beach looks a bit shabby and neglected. Overall decent value for money at time I visited. Staff were generally very friendly but overall got impression around this downtown area the locals seem to try to fleece the tourists wherever possible, including bars, clothes shops, massage/spas.tourist trips etc. Also even after visiting breakfast early all mornings staff regularly get food and drinks early on, occupying drink machines, toasters etc..and it's not just one or two which was irritating and not very customer friendly! Also as guest numbers were on the low side as we were out of the main season, service was generally pretty slow and unresponsive.Apart from problems mentioned overall on balance I felt it was still an OK stay and decent value. Hotel facilities generally good and in a pretty decent location...but let down by poor breakfast offering and staff apathy/poor customer service.

Travelled out of season solo, had the best time, majority of customers were also solo. Had a heatwave for a week that helped. Most of city open in my opinion except bar street/strip area and of course places were doing refurbs ready to open. Central location, hotels beach bar opposite. Left is Starbucks and a cheap pasta restaurant, right into town. Great prom for early morning run, felt safe, alot of police presence. Inflation has upped prices even Mcs is dearer than UK. Had the best veggie pizza in The Bones next door. Swam in sea most days and did a boat trip. Red Tower and shipyard are card only but you can pay cash/card for cable car. Only shopped in Migros supermarket 5 mins down road. Smoking attitudes is that of the 80s you can smoke anywhere, theres no designated smoking areas, abit annoying smoke coming your way and no cider, found some in Irish Pub but 2 330ml (coke can size) drinks was £13 and it was local stuff. Wine was over £6 a glass. Hotel Cheap, cheerful, i got a bargain for the insanely cheap price I paid for a week. Clean, dated decor and furniture but location and my view from room 1206 fab. Food ok but ive a bland palate. Pool area clean. Fridge 2€ a day same as safe but old style keys for door and safe so dont lose them! Everything rolls out of fridge, TV only has 2 news channels in English. I did get wifi in my room but i was above reception. Shower hot and poweful, maid service daily. Downer needed a blackout curtain and noise from road bothers some but for my view and the people watching value it was not a bother for me.

This hotel is a basic hotel here are my views on the hotel; PROS •Basic room but clean, cleaners did a good job, especially in 30+ degree heat . Bathroom not immaculate but clean all the same. Clean towels always given. •We were given a room with a great sea view, really lovely view •Nice cool lobby to cool off •Clean pool although quite small CONS •The BIGGEST let down of our stay is the fact it took 3 nights out of our 7 nights to get our air con repaired and working in our room. It was 30*degrees and as you can image we did not sleep the first 3 nights so spent most the holiday really tired!! I have asthma so I really struggled and I have come home with a horrendous cough. This should have been checked before our arrival?? •On arrival there was only 1 pillow for 2 people. •Weird breakfast choices, cooked carrots, salad, cooked aubergines for breakfast!. No bacon, beans, hash browns etc so if you are from the UK you may struggle with this. Although there was toast, cereal, not what I want though for paying for bed and breakfast. •We were expected to pay for the fridge, we did not. In hot temperatures you'd think keeping your drinks cool would be a standard hotel room facility. •No Wi-Fi in the rooms. Just in the lobby. •Weak overpriced cocktails, around £10 for basically a slush puppy! •Very noisy by the road, cars and traffic still in the early hours 3am/4am •Small pool and sun loungers all gone by 5am!!! People saving loungers with towels this early. On reflection I would not stay at this hotel again unfortunately.

We've stayed here 3 times before on HB basis and never had any complaints. This year we stayed 9 nights B&B, partly due to cost, partly because my mum, at almost 80, just doesn't eat much at mealtimes especially when it's hot so we decided to try B&B. We flew with EasyJet and had private transfers, arriving late afternoon. Check in was smooth & as we'd requested the same room as previous stays (5th floor, block 2) for the great views of the sea & castle, we knew what to expect. The room is a twin, with a step in shower, tv, hairdryer in the bathroom and a fridge *which is extra (as is the safety box). Air con is complementary. Clean bedding & towels every few days. There's a small front facing balcony with a couple of chairs and a low table, and a drying rack for swimwear etc. Some people have said these front rooms can be noisy due to the road outside, it depends what you're used to. If you're a light sleeper, take ear plugs. On the 2 nights when there's hotel entertainment, the music is done for midnight. Breakfast times changed mid way through our stay but were always pretty busy. It's mostly Turkish/continental food - lots of fresh salad, cheese, cold meats, fruit, jam, honey, chocolate spread. As well as yoghurt & cereals. This year o noticed there was a "porridge" type option (like muesli in warm milk) which I tried with fruit and really enjoyed. There's a choice of hot options, different every day - potatoes, eggs, beans, tomatoes, Turkish sausage etc. And outside by the pool you can get pancakes , fried eggs and omelette. There's a toaster & toastie maker. Plenty of choice of teas/coffee machine and cold juices (these are included at breakfast but not at other meals). I had no problem finding something to set me up for the day. I can't comment on evening meals as we didn't eat in the hotel. The pool is the only let down I think. It's quite small, so not ideal if you have kids - no slides. Not many loungers around the pool either. Across the road is the beach, you can pay for sunbed/parasol hire at reception. Food is available freshly cooked. There are little inlets between flat rocks (which can be very slippery) into the sea, and beach shoes come in handy as its quite pebbly at the shore. I tied the Turkish bath/spa and can highly recommend - around £24 for a sauna, salt scrub, bubble scrub, face mask & oil massage, bliss!! Overall we noticed prices have increased, eating out we were paying on average around £20 pp for main meal & drinks. It's worth remembering that inflation in Turkey is really high at the moment, they're not trying to rip you off, they're trying to make a living. Prices are almost on a par with UK now. There's plenty of choice around the hotel for places to eat, coffee shops etc (new one opened just next door). Highly recommended Costa Flamingo 2 mins to the right & over the road - live music, great food & excellent service. I travelled with my mum & we never felt unsafe, the staff at the hot
