Elysee Rive Hotel

Lovely rooms but wouldn't be back due to the food & drink. Food is more or less the same every single lunch and dinner each day, pizzas and burgers and odd kebab. There's only around 10 hot choices, (half of them veg). Hotel would be better suited if you just went self catering. The alcoholic drinks were horrid, cocktails were just a burning alcohol taste, beer was like water, and they never give you a full glass, even with the juice... which I thought was weird. Only one bar open as well for the whole week so if you just fancy a drink at the bar when dinner is on, you'll be waiting a while as you have to que for your drinks at breakfast, lunch and dinner (there's no table service). The snack bar was the worst, everyday just burgers, maybe plain pasta and chips. Which were always cold. The rooms were perfect, spacious, think all come with double bed and single bed. The view from the room is just beautiful. Good area as well, local to everything. Wouldn't say much about the staff as they don't engage with you, or smile. Especially the female staff... Best staff members were the ones on reception- especially the male on late shifts - very helpful! Would overall give it 3 star

I came with my friend to alanya for first time. This hotel really excellent. Very clean rooms and very good service. Kind staff thank you to everybody. O will come back here I hope . Sea is not far to hotel only only road. Everybody must go and must eat this delicious food

The location of the hotel is great. We were very pleased. All rooms have sea view. I can say that it is the only hotel where all rooms have sea views. The employees were very kind and polite. hotel in the center of Alanya. You can reach everywhere by walking.There will always be a reason for preference.

Fantastic hotel. The rooms are spacious and the hotel is really clean. It has 2 pools and looks directly on to the beach which has a beach bar. The shops and harbour are within walking distance, so great location. A taxi to the harbour is only €5. We thought the food was delicious and there was plenty of choice, desserts are very sweet. Lovely cocktails in the evening and the bar staff and restaurant staff were great . Special thanks to Siyar who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. We are already looking to book for next year again. I would not book any trips with the holiday reps again as they are really expensive compared to organising them independently.

I was looking forward to a lovely relaxing week in what looked like a really nice hotel, but I was far from reality. Our week started as normal being greeted by what we thought was nice staff members that turned into us feeling really uncomfortable and on edge throughout the rest of our stay. staff members made numerous sexual remarks and hideous body shaming comments which is unacceptable. They continued to make numerous comments through our stay asking if I would go to there hotel room multiple times, starring at us in our bikinis and body shaming my friend asking “how many children are in there” laughing while poking my friends stomach which is horrific. On top of this on Wednesday my friend and I contracted severe food poisoning ( we now know 8 others had the same) we ended up spending a whole day in hospital. This now on reflection come as no surprise as all the food was left there for hours including cakes left out overnight in the patisserie . On returning to the hotel where we spoke to members of staff no one was shocked we contacted food poisoning at all ! There was hardly any signs labelling the foods and when we asked a member of staff what this is we were given rude replies. On our last night around 2am our room was broken into, the door slammed as the alarm must’ve disturbed them thank god ! This ended out trip with us both feeling really unsafe and looking forward to going home. Finally, as we were checking out the man behind the reception told us we had to pay €50 as we were sick in the room. For obvious reasons we refused to pay this and he was very threatening telling our transfer driver we couldn’t leave until we paid the 50euros. We tried to explain that us being sick was because of the hotel but he constantly said “this isn’t our problem” After this trip it has left me never wanted to return to turkey or this hotel, I really hope no one has the same experience that we did. Safe to say I’m glad I’m home.
