My husband and I stayed at Best Western Okemos on June 14, 24 and all was well (aside from a confusing hotel layout) until the next day, the 15th, when we checked out. Several hours after we left (and I was working at the local hospital), I realized I left my swimsuit hanging on a hanger in the closet in our room. I called and described the swimsuit and location in which I left it. They said that hotel housekeeping would be in the following morning and to follow up with them. So I called the next morning on the 16th and they said nothing had been turned in, no luck, but they told me I could stop by and check in later. After work, I stopped by in the afternoon before our 4 hour drive home and spoke with a receptionist by the name of Kyle. He said nothing had been turned in, but that if it was turned in, it could be shipped to me. Again, I described our room number, the swimsuit, and the location I had left it. So we left and on our trip home, Kyle called us and said it had turned up and asked us to turn around and retrieve it from the hotel. I said that we had just gotten through some construction and were on our way home, but if it could be shipped to us, I would greatly appreciate it, as it's my favorite swimsuit. He told me someone would be in touch with me on Monday the 17th, but I waited and heard nothing. So I followed up on Friday the 21st and was told that I needed to call back on Saturday to talk to management or housekeeping. So I called back on Saturday the 22nd and left a voicemail. Now it's Sunday night and I haven't heard a thing and I'm just frustrated at how this was handled. Do you have my swimsuit anymore or have you lost it and, if you do have it, do I need to pay to ship it to myself after all of the confusion and lack of communication?
