One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had in terms of customer service!
The location and facilities are decent, but everything else was a nightmare.
Before arriving in Cairo, I notified the hotel of my late check-in (as they advertise 24-hour front desk service). They didn’t respond. When we arrived, the hotel was impossible to locate within the building — no signage or directions inside — and no staff at the front desk. Multiple calls went unanswered. Only after escalating the issue to Trip.com’s customer service did someone finally respond, and we waited over an hour just to check in.
When staff arrived, our reserved room wasn’t ready — still dirty from the last guest. Instead, they gave us two small rooms, despite booking a space for three to stay together. We squeezed into one room and were promised a move the next morning.
The next day, we received breakfast but no updates. After lunch time, again, no staff present and no way to contact anyone — their phone was turned off. We wanted to switch rooms before going out, but were left
with no communication.
To make things worse, there was construction in the building with falling debris and no safety precautions in place. It was genuinely hazardous.
We contacted Trip.com again, and even their support couldn’t reach the hotel. At that point, we had no choice but to cancel the remainder of our stay.
If you value your time, comfort, or safety — stay elsewhere. The customer service here is absolutely unacceptable.
