This was not a hotel but an apartment, hence the name. The there wasn’t any staff on-site, they email you the code for the front door and your room. There is a book in the room with the wifi information. The room was clean and had both heat and air con. Unusual for Iceland. The rooms are a bit run down, the towels and sheets are well used. The rooms could stand to be painted. They do have a single washer and dryer that you can use for free. We did a load of laundry and it was very convenient. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook in. It was well stocked and clean. The room smelled like the food that someone previously had made in the apartment. We ran the fan over the stove for 30 minutes and it significantly improved the air quality. Parking was limited. I would bring my own shampoo and conditioner, the apartment provided body wash but not shampoo or conditioner.

Wonderful room, accommodating and cozy hotel. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and the staff was very kind. The concierge doubled as a bar, so we were able to order and take drinks into the room which was a nice plus. The lobby was like that of your favorite older relative who has stories about places all over the world and the trinkets to prove it. I really wish I could have stayed here longer but we were quite limited in time. It's not within the city center but if you have a car, it's literally a minute drive down the mountain.

Este es un hotel en la ciudad de Acerley. Abajo es un bar. El negocio es muy tarde. Nos quedamos muy tarde. La habitación es muy grande, hay cocina independiente y baño, y hay un gran balcón. Puede ver las calles del centro de la ciudad, sin recepción, sin camareros, Nos encontramos a la noche, no podemos conectar con Wi-Fi, sólo se conecta el día siguiente, no hay cuchillos de cocina, todos los demás

We booked this hotel for three nights the last weekend of August . We had read all the marvellous reviews and of how nice the owner was, but the hotel and owner far exceeded our expectations. The hotel website does not do justice to how spectacular and lovely the hotel is , it’s actually also very contemporary and the finishing’s are of very high quality . The owners have put a lot of thought and love into designing this hotel for the comfort of their guests. The walls are all soundproofed so u don’t hear a thing, the rooms are of a really good size which is very rare in Iceland . The rooms are immaculately clean and very comfortable with a quality mattress for a good nights sleep . We never stayed up to see the Northern lights but the other guests did , just sat on their balconies about midnight and said it was amazing. Buffet breakfast was excellent and what a view . The area of the hotel is beautiful worth the short drive over it’s like the Beverly Hills of Akureyri . We will definitely be returning especially now that a winter direct flight path has opened up from Manchester to Akureyri.

非常滿意的別墅，一室的卧室有一個門廳，衞生間很乾凈，還有獨立的廚房。平台上會有可以泡温泉的地方，衹不過户外會有一些蟲子，感覺有一些可怕。 入住退房都非常的方便。

Desde la atención del recepcionista (un joven que hablaba español) hasta la comodidad de la habitación y un desayuno aceptable, el hotel cumplió con nuestras expectativas. El hotel se ubica cerca del centro de Akureyri y de la ruta 1 (la principal de Islandia) por lo cual fue fácil llegar y al día siguiente salir para continuar nuestro viaje por Islandia. Quizás lo negativo, es la pequeña habitación que poseen para el desayuno, lo cual hace un poco caótico desayunar en esta habitación por lo cual se debe ir a la zona del bar del hotel a desayunar. En general, para alojar una noche en Akureyri estuvo bien.

In short notice, we needed an overnight stay in Aukereyri. We found Hrafninn as the Cheapest! place with available room with private bath at a price of 370 Euro.!!! We ordered the room the same day we should stay overnight. We got information of the location of the hostel. At arrival, there were no PIN code available for our room. Nobody in the reception. We called the telephone number that we found on the wall. A person said she will come and lock us in our room. After 10 minutes waiting, she arrived, and gave us our pin code. We asked if the price included breakfast?? First she said no, but after checking it, she told us that the room was included breakfast. She told us we had to walk approx. 10 min to another Hotel to get the breakfast next morning. The room was in the basement, and we had to walk down a pretty steep and narrow stair. The room was ok, with private bathroom. The sofa in the room was not good to sit on It was broken, and when we tried to sit on it, we almost sat on the floor! There was a TV, but no remotecontrol to turn on the TV!! Next morning we walked the 10 mins to the other hotel for breakfast. She sat in the reception, and we told here we are here for the breakfast. THEN she told us, sorry, I was wrong yesterday, the room is NOT includet with breakfast. You have to pay an extra 40 Euro for the breakfast!! All in All. For the price of 370 Euro, we expected higher Quality, and altso she could offer us breakfast when we had been walking 10 min to get the breakfast she told us was included in the price. Room and service was way overpriced. First and last time we stayed here.

Casa de huéspedes en una excelente ubicación, limpia, habitaciones acogedoras. Un par de sugerencias: es difícil realizar el check-in - es obligatorio llamar al llegar. Hora de inspección no clara, en el sitio se reporta ahora 6 PM, la casa se reporta 4 PM, al teléfono se dice 5 PM ... Por el resto, sugiero que vayas a visitar.
