Ramada Resort by Wyndham Lara

Excellent hotel with great food available 24/7 (few hours excluded). Conveniently close to the beach, but slightly distant from the old city.

It’s nice hotel with good service, you always can eat good foods.

This hotel is a 4* and works very hard to accommodate and please their guests The reception staff were friendly polite and very helpful check in was swift with our cases taken to our room. Thankyou Food was plentiful plenty of options desserts amazing heard a lot of people complain about breakfast but hey it's turkey no pork (bacon) accept their customs. Food was served 24/7 you couldn't go hungry beware though if eating outside there is stray cats that come in waiting for people to feed them and they can be nasty I disturbed one under the table just sitting down and it bit me not hotels fault not their cats it's the people who feed and encourage them Hotel offered a nurse but I had cleaned it myself Cleanliness hotel was kept immaculate and our daily cleaner was amazing (room 2432) friendly always smiling and very helpful thankyou for the lovely towel art This hotel could benefit from a larger entertainment area inside for the winter months the leanto/conservatory type room was far to cold to watch entertainment Bars drinks local lager and any cocktail they could do even those not on the list premium drinks of course at an extra charge majority of staff were lovely special mention to Rifat who was amazing then the until We came across a very rude waitress when I complained the barman at the time said its her personality then she shouldn't be working frontline with guests Customer relations passed our complaint to management where she was reprimanded we were told hopefully future guests wont have to put up with her rudeness Unfortunately after that incident when her and her barman friend were working we received flat lager in wet glasses (drink pics before and after below) and made to feel uncomfortable we didn't deserve ger rudeness or the treatment afterwards by that barman Would be return unfortunately no never before have we come across this behaviour Don't be put off though this hotel would be lovely in the warmer months for solo couples and families Just remember to report to rep or hotels customer relations of any rudeness they are there to help

I read some of the reviews before coming and thought maybe we should have booked elsewhere. I def shouldn't have worried From check in onwards our stay was amazing Staff were so very friendly and helpful Food was great, so many choices Would we return. Oh yes definitely. Everywhere so clean Our room was amazing Cocktails were delicious I honestly cannot fault the hotel or the staff Had wash and blow dry at the hairdressers twice. Only mistake we made was booking a massage off site 50 Euros and it was a basic massage.. Paid another 50 when there to upgrade to full body massage. It was a great massage tbh but they offer the same in the hotel for less money and no travel involved All in all we had a marvellous time and will def return next year

We are currently on our last night at the Ramada Resort and we have been thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff are a credit to the hotel and nothing is too much trouble. Our room was huge with a king size bed, single bed and plenty of covers and pillows. The housekeeping kept the room clean and made the beds everyday and replenished tea/coffees etc. the bathroom had the best shower ever. The food was plentiful and always varied. The chefs and kitchen porters were out filling up trays etc with an array of foods even the fussiest eaters were catered for. From breakfast to late supper there is always plenty to eat and drink. The outside bar does a grill and in the afternoon there is fried chicken and burgers. The weather wasn’t the best but it didn’t dull our enjoyment. As expected in the low season a lot of the entertainment is closed. This is reflected in the price you pay for the holiday. There is always entertainment at night with quiz nights, karaoke and a live band. You can book excursions in the hotel but I wouldn’t advise these in low season as you don’t get the weather and it ends up soggy. There are plenty of parks for the younger children and the bar is open all hours for all beverages.. they make an amazing strawberry daiquiri!. Some of the clientele were a bit rowdy and there was an incident on our first night which was quickly dealt with by security, management and the police. Zero tolerance for people who want to ruin your holiday with their nonsense. Outwith the hotel there is an array of bazaars and shops selling dupe designer goods. Would I recommend the Ramada Resort Lara.. in a heartbeat yes. Thanks to the duty manager who booked us a table at the al a carte Italian restaurant in the resort. The food was amazing and well worth a visit. Thank you to the wonderful management and staff for making our week stress free and memorable. We loved every minute and will definitely return.
