We travelled as a family of 5 booked via Heidi and stayed in a 3 bed apartment (one bedroom is described as a sleeping nook but it is a smallish room with bunk beds). The apartment was tired and in distinct need of modernisation, the showers and kitchen sink were grotty, it was quite cold compared to all the other ski accommodation we’ve stayed at in France and the drains smelled. The hotel building itself is in need of modernisation, lifts, hallways and staircases are grotty, and the ski locker rooms in the cellars are awful! The floors around the lockers were flooded and filthy so if you went down in crocs for example your socks were wet and dirty straight away. On a plus point the folks in the very convenient onsite SKISET hire/shop were great, my boots were super comfy all week. The Aime 2000 commercial area itself isn’t great, it’s tired and lacks atmosphere of any kind. There are public lifts and underground walkways to get you from the Hauts Bois building up to the big ‘ship’ shaped commercial building where all the shops/restaurants/Spar supermarket is located. These are filthy and reminded me of the stairwells of car parks in the UK that are dark, dingy, worrying to use as a woman alone, and smell of wee. And the route back to the hotel from the lowest lift is unlit. Restaurant La Terrasse was great for a family evening meal, friendly staff, a lovely fondu for 2, good burgers and a duck daily special that my teenager devoured. The skiing around La Plagne is great and we’ll be back but definitely in a different area and in better accommodation.

Really pleased with these apartments which were also a very good price. Booked a 2-bed but the bunk beds in the alcove made it a 3-bed which was perfect for our teenagers (1 boy, 1 girl) so they didn't have to share a room. Main bedroom has an ensuite so 2 showers in the apartment was also a bonus. Compared to other ski apartments we found it to be very spacious. Balcony overlooking the Golf run and the mountains was beautiful. Great location - out of the boot room straight onto the slopes. Despite being at the edge of La Plagne we easily made it over to Les Arcs on 2 days. The Spar shop, restaurants and bars are an easy couple of minutes walk. Bread delivery service was delicious, convenient and good value. Staff were friendly and helpful. Terrasse bar was a great location for an apres-ski drink at the end of the skiing day. Kitchen was basic but after a day's skiing that is all you need. Lockers aren't heated so we brought our ski boots up to the apartments and kept them in the very warm and spacious bathroom. Not a problem. Yes, the apartments are a bit tired in terms of decor but given the price this shouldn't be a surprise. Husband and boy-child used the steam room and sauna a couple of times - dressing gowns provided in the apartments were a nice surprise. For the price, I could not fault this place. Spacious, great location and convenient for the slopes and other amenities.

We travelled with a 3 year old and I was worried the apartment may be too small. We booked a 1 bed that has bunk beds in an alcove. In fact, the bunk beds had their own separate room which suited us perfectly. My daughter loved her room and it was plenty big enough for 2 children. The apartment was small, but you get what you pay for. It was perfect for us, we were out snowboarding all day and was only there in the mornings and evenings. It had lots of useful extras: dressing gowns, dish cloth, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, one loo roll on arrival (you have to buy more), duvets and not blankets, bathroom towels, hairdryer. We were very happy with our stay. Only negative is check in time is FROM 5pm. We got back to the apartments at just before 5pm and they could not tell us when we would be able to get into our apartment. Having left home in the UK at 2:45am, it was a very long day with a young family and all we wanted to do was get in, unpacked and to bed!! We did get our keys just after 5pm, but I'm not sure if that was because I had a little moan!! They do a croissant and baguette delivery which you need to order by 6pm to collect at 8am. The pool was lovely, we only went once mid morning, and we were the only ones there. I would suggest taking your dressing gowns and going back to the apartment to get changed as there were only 2 small changing rooms which would not work if you have kids. Even though it was the winter season, the walk back was quick and not too cold! Ski lockers were very handy with ski in ski out. Apartment was very quiet, we heard neighbours a bit during the busy time ie dinner, but that was it. We had great views over the slopes and mountain. We booked through Crystal Ski on a package deal.

So, we have used PandV several times for skiing. This residence is not as good as the usual ‘Premium’ rated residences. However, the price reflects that. If you are arriving after 7pm call ahead, otherwise you won’t be able to get your keys. In other Premium PandV residences, there has been someone on reception in the evenings. This place is locked up and your keys will be in a lock box with a code and if you don’t know the code you aren’t getting in! Out of hours phone number isn’t answered. -ves Tired decor A little bit grubby around the edges (typical of standard French ski residences, but Premium PandV usually better) no bar/restaurant in the building Ski lockers not heated Floor of ski lockers basically one big puddle (take some shoes down) Bunk beds in alcove are small - a bit tight if you are travelling with teens +ves Three lifts up to main supermarket/restaurants/ESF lessons area of aime2000. Aime 2000 not the prettiest, but nice atmosphere in the evening and much less packed than La Plagne Centre. Good view of slopes and large balcony (unless you end up car park side!) Staff pleasant enough. Beds pretty comfy. Warm and plenty hot water in shower (although not kitchen sink for some reason)

My 9yo daughter and I stayed here in Dec 23. If you arrive in Plagne Centre and get the Telemetro to Aime 2000 then it's a short walk to the P&V building but not exactly intuitive. Basically walk all the way round from the Telemetro to the lifts opposite the viewing gallery and go down. Then walk ahead and get the next lift down. Finally, walk ahead again and get the last lift down. Turn left on exit and you can walk to the ground floor reception of the P&V building. Firstly, checking in online before we arrived helped speed up the process dramatically. Our ski passes were ready to collect and our ready-made meals from partner Famileat were already in the fridge in our room! These were very good quality and I would endorse the Cottage Pie and Parmentier (duck) pie. All the check in staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and spoke great english. Every day we utilised the boulangerie ordering service and collected our fresh baguettes and pastries from reception at 8am. Ski in ski out was perfect for us and you end up on the Golf run which is great for warming up and gives you a choice of 3 directions to head off in every morning. You can head down to Plagne 1800 and then back up towards Bergerie. Or you can head straight to Centre and choose Lovatiere, Colorado or the Cabin or finally you can head down towards Montalbert. Lockable lockers are provided and we came back most days at lunch. The rooms are nice but cosy and I wouldn't like to be at full occupancy! We had just one adult and one child in our 5 bed room. A family of two adults and two kids would be fine but anything more and you better be happy living in close proximity! The room is well equipped and has dishwasher and fancy microwave oven. Would recommend bringing a USB stick you can plug into the TV for Netflix etc. Wifi was available. A cleaning kit was provided with some dishwasher tabs, cloths and tea towels. The checkout process requires you to clean the kitchen prior to check out. The rooms were eventually nice and warm but we there on opening weekend so took a bit of time to heat up the room as radiators had obviously been turned off over summer. In fact, they got too warm as then had to open a window! The pool and spa is nice with great views but could do with being a bit warmer! Maybe this too needed to warm up a bit. There was a gym that I didn't have time to use. For hire there is a skiset onsite or an Intersport in the adjacent building. In the adjacent building you will also find a supermarket, a takeaway sushi place (highly recommend!), and the normal shops, restaurants and bars. I would happily return here again in the future and hope to do so or maybe visit another P&V place. We used Ben's bus for airport transfer (see other reviews!).

Wonderful stay here from before the start right to the end. Maude and Sarah on reception were amazing at communicating before the trip. Confirming the type of oven in the apartment (combination), taking delivery of a Huski food order and taking our pastry request for our first morning. The breakfast goods were delicious BTW. The staff at the accommodation could not be faulted and all could not do enough to make sure our at the accommodation was enjoyable. The apartment was comfortable and clean with amazingly comfy beds (even the sofa bed). Lots of hot water for showers, fluffy towels and robes for the steam room sauna and pool. Access to the slopes was straight outside and only a short walk to Aimee for the bars, restaurants and shops including Spar. Ski equipment was easy to get from Skiset in the building where the team were all super helpful.
