I recently stayed at Ginger Vastrapur for an official trip, occupying room number 220 for two nights. While the rooms were neat and clean, there were several service-related issues that need improvement. Firstly, the mini fridge in my room was not functioning, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the breakfast menu was repetitive, with the same items served on both days. There were also some shortcomings in basic amenities—hand towels were missing and only provided after two reminders. Similarly, an iron was sent after three reminders, but without an ironing board. Despite multiple requests, a hair dryer was not provided during my stay. Another concern was the behavior of the staff during breakfast. I observed front-of-house F&B staff discussing their grievances about not receiving days off in front of guests, which is unprofessional. As a hotelier myself, I have certain expectations from a reputed brand like Ginger, and unfortunately, this experience fell short of those standards. I hope these issues are addressed to improve the overall guest experience in the future.
