to be honest, this is the only hotel in agra which has the taj mahal’s closest straight view hospitality was top notch(specially from raju and son)
rooms were very good (superior double bedroom)
ground floor cafe is good, terrace cafe is decent but view makes it good
food/kitchen area is hygienic and clean. taste is okayish but homely. and to top it off, taj mahal entry gate would be just 100steps away🤩 few issues in parking space but it’s manageable.

Highly Recommend Property At Agra !! If your are insane traveller and explorer this place is perfect for you. Rooms are clean and comfy , Staff are kind and always ready for your help . This property offers best view of taj from there rooftop .That View Was incredible

Very good place to stay. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful and kind. Also , excellent location ,and rooms were very clean I highly recommended this hotel . Thank you very match guys all the best to all of you . The highlight is for sure the rooftop with the possible atmosphere and view of Taj is incredible. And guys dont miss morning tea here

Second visit to agra first time in 2019 and stayed at this property Kamal hotel.Wonderful place very homely and amazing view of Taj from rooftop. Amazing hospitality and rooms were clean.The staff and owner are very kind we can't wait to come back ,felt like home

Hotel was very good and comfortable. Hotel staff was helpful and supportive. The most convenient thing is that the taj is on just walking distance and from rooftop terrace you can see taj view

I have stayed at Kamal previously, and enjoyed a lovely suite on the ground floor (level 1). Things have gone south over 10 years apparently. We checked in and provided our Bookings.com PIN and confirmation numbers. After several phone calls it became apparent the rooms booked were either no longer available or the booking couldn't be found. Ah India... We eventually were allocated two rooms on 2nd level. Both were basic but OK. I received a small electric shock when switching on the bedside light, but a quick fiddle soon established a more permanent connection. No A/C, which was fine given we travelled in February, but would hate to stay here in hotter months. There is a rooftop area with a fine view of the Taj, and food/beverages are available there or the dining room. Kamal is still one of the better budget places to stay in the Taj Ganj area, however it is in need of a little renovation. And a complete electrical rewiring!
