Triopetra Luxury Villas Fournou Lago

I don't normally write reviews but felt I had to for this villa (Villa Stefania). The villa is exceptional. It is spacious and very clean, with a swimming pool that was perfect for our family of five. The views from the villa are phenomenal. You can see the picturesque mountains spreading into the distance. On the other side you can see the ocean, with the sun glistening on the water. We stayed for 2 weeks and each day it was an absolute joy to sit on the balcony, relax and just enjoy the calming views. Triopetra beach is close by and is wonderful. It is enclosed, not overcrowded and perfect for swimming and snorkelling. There is a quintessential Greek taverna on the beach (Taverna Apanemia) which is a must visit. However, the distinguishing feature of this villa is the owners. Stefania and George are truly exceptional hosts. From the initial enquiries to when we left on our final day, they were perfect. Nothing was too much trouble. They have a genuine interest in making your stay relaxing and trouble free. They left plentiful supplies of local food and drink for when we arrived. They even brought cakes, drinks and gifts throughout our stay. George is a true gentleman. I can honestly say in over 20 years of staying in villas throughout Europe, we have never experienced such a warm welcome and heartfelt hospitality. Our family highly recommends Triopetra Villas Fournou Lago.

Its our second holiday here, we ae really in love with that place. Its the right place for people which want to stay away from tourist crowds. Both villas are equipped with everything you need. If something is missing Georgios helps you to find it. Its very helpfull to find the fridge filled up with enough stuff to survive the first day. For Shopping we advice Spilli or way better if you arrive via Tympaki the bigone after the Avin gas station there ( Its way better).We are very happy here and can't wait to come back.

We stayed in triopetra luxury villas Fournou Lago in July for our holidays and it was amazing. Very clean and welcoming place and George was very friendly and helpful with us. The view from the villas is amazing and relaxing. We had an nice stay and we are definitely coming back! Thank you George!

The villa was exactly as described and on first impressions we were very happy. The first day was good. That night the permanent winds started, they blow all day and all night. They are so bad that you cant sit outside the villa or use the pool ever. There were 3 days that it was much worse and there was a wind storm, which does sometimes come to this area and the villa was virtually uninhabitable. At that time the beaches were really bad, the waves were going backwards out to sea and the sand storms bit into your skin. We were told by the beach restaurants that it is always windy there during July and August but that the storm was not so common. This villa is particularly badly affected by the permanent winds due to its location. I asked the owners why they don't give some notice of this on the information and they said it wouldn't make commercial sense and offered me a watermelon as compensation. The sun beds are roped to the ground and have been like that for a very long time and even the trees are tied back to stop them blowing over. They are shaped as if windswept repeatedly. The only good bit about this holiday was that the Triopetra beach is more sheltered and the restaurants there are superb. We had booked and paid for 2 weeks but left after 1 as it was impossible to stay any longer. I asked for a weeks compensation but the owners said I was unreasonable. This holiday was 8th July.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr großzügig und sauber. Georgios hat uns mit Wein und einem gefüllten Kühlschrank am Anreisetag versorgt. Pool wurde regelmässig gereinigt. In der Nähe sind ein toller Strand und gute Tavernen, um das griechische Leben zu geniessen abseits der grossen Touristenströme.

Es ist sehr schön hier. Man kommt an und der Kühlschrank ist gleich gefüllt für den ersten Tag. Beide Häuser sind sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Poole werden jeden 2 oder 3 Tag gereinigt. Die Häuser enthalten Handtücher zum baden umd zum duschen. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden.
