We had the most wonderful week here. The staff are brilliant, so polite, so helpful & always willing to help with whatever you need big or small. The property itself is beautiful & has spectacular views of the bay & Spinalonga island. It’s very tastefully decorated both inside & within the gardens. We loved how beautifully planted everywhere was & the attention paid to details like scent memories! We stayed with our 2 children (one under 10 & one preteen) & they were both very happy here & didn’t want to leave & remain desperate to come back! We rented a car for two days & explored some of the other special places Crete had to offer also. The staff at Domes were more than happy to recommend eateries & destinations. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel, it was truly fantastic.

We stayed as a family of 5 in a 2 bed villa with pool with my mum in one of the newer doubles with spa bath. From the moment we arrived we were scooped up with amazing hospitality, the friendliness of staff and attentive service was faultless throughout the week. Special mention to Jenny, Chara and Panagiotis who went out of their way to make our stay extra special. We stayed in villa 705 which was opposite the pool and haute lounge making it ideal for teenagers to stroll late to breakfast without needing to call a club cart and offered us a very sheltered sun trap with gorgeous views. My mum's room 926 was quite exposed given that we were unlucky to visit on a very windy week in October. Location was great with the beach ideal for both children and granny to snorkel safely. Not much to see but a boat trip to spinalonga meant we had other opportunities. Restaurants were incredible with great choice and even the buffet Tholos had a different theme each night so always huge variety and the best standard of buffet dining we've had to date. The only issue we had was the confusion of knowing what was included in the dine around package and breakfast was often cold. Blend offered a nicer location for breakfast than Tholos but they struggled to keep up with demand so there was often a wait for things to be restocked. Accommodation was spotless and a wonderful team of housekeepers maintained it throughout the week, turn down service kept us stocked with plenty of water and the cart drivers were so punctual and helpful getting us about the hilly resort. I can't hesitate to recommend this hotel enough for the wonderful setting and facilities but the staff are what made our stay so special.

Amazing experience, really 5 star resorts with kids club , pool , restaurant and what not… you will get what you are looking for. We have booked half board with villa. You won’t need to spend any more than that. Food is nice . Beach is really nice with so many different kinds water sports.

No way to summarize all but to say that I have never seen such an amazing stuff, service food and accommodation. I have no words for the amount of effort all the stuff is doing to make you feel amazing. Each of the guests is special to them. Service again is something that you fine see every day. Clean rooms all the time by the stuff. Amazing activities and amazing in house restaurants. This is the only place to go in Crete. You won’t regret it. It deserves 7 stars!!!

We have just returned from the most magical family holiday at Domes of Elounda, my only complaint …. 7 days just wasn’t enough. We were very kindly upgraded to a family 1-bedroom suite which was perfect, we had an incredible hot tub (a new one apparently), large living space, bedroom and a huge bathroom with a bath and walk in shower. There was plenty of hanging space and drawers (usually an issue now we are a family of 3) and lots of doors/ windows for extra light. The perfect family room. Every member of staff in the buffet restaurant and operating the club cars were exceptional, they really are the jewel in the crown and remember every single guest and their requirements. I was apprehensive dining at the hotel, as my daughter has food allergies and we’ve previously had a negative experience at another 5* hotel in Greece who didn’t take allergies seriously, however the staff went above and beyond every single day which put my mind at ease, a special shout out to the restaurant manager of Tholos who did everything she could to assist. The family swimming pool, blend restaurant and core are all on the opposite side of the resort to reception, which means we had to use the club cars a lot, had I realised that staying in a residence room would have meant being on the core side of the resort, I would have probably upgraded for convenience. Definitely something we will consider for our next stay. We visited the beach one afternoon and had the most fabulous service, great food and a relaxing time on the VERY comfortable sun loungers. The hotel has made use of every single area of the beach, which makes us feel cosy and relaxing. The family pool is huge and was virtually empty every day, however I suspect that’s due to the inviting beach, private pool rooms and the FREEZING temperature of the pool. I was surprised how cold the water temperature was compared to other comparable hotels on the island, a few degrees warmer would have made for a very different experience. Our dining experience was pretty good across the resort, however core was the highlight. The portions are generous and the food exceptional, there was something for everyone and we never left hungry. The staff here were attentive, knowledgable and seemed genuinely happy, which made for a positive experience all around. Overall this resort was 9/10, the only things that have stopped me giving a 10 are: the pool temperature, proximity of family rooms to family pool, limited dining options. Would we visit again? YES, I am already looking into rebooking for next year.

We absolutely loved it here! It’s really difficult to have a fun AND relaxing time with a small child, but this place did it! Everything is very family friendly, and there are a lot of nice things to do together, especially if you have a toddler. There is a great kids pool for small children, fun shows in the evening, such as the soap bubble show, and, in particular, a great kids club and crèche! Thank you so much for Eleni and her team at the kids club for making our stay so special and giving us parents a few hours a day to relax at the spa or pool as well. Our daughter is 1,5 years old and she loved it, always wanted to go to the club again. I was a little apprehensive beforehand because she doesn’t speak any English, but the staff is great and they manage to communicate with the children anyway. Also, the staff there is really big when you look at the number of kids, so that there are enough people at hand if a kid does get upset. When we picked her up, the kids were often playing outside, so you got a good look at the interaction between the kids and staff and you could just see that they are having fun. We met quite a few parents during our stay who had their children at the kids club every day for 2-3 hours, which was great because the kids got to know each other. We also met one family where the boy got upset there and wanted to be picked up, and they called them right away. This was before we signed our daughter up, but surprisingly it gave me a really good feeling because I knew that we could just try it out and rely on them to call if she doesn’t like it. We are definitely going to come back!
