A perfect, charming hotel in Agia Marina. Located on the beach. Nice, clean rooms with balconies and oceanview, and a small kitchen. A very friendly and helpfull staff! If you have any kind of problem it will be taken care of instantly, just talk to Dorothea, the manager. I have never felt so welcome in a hotel as I did here! Also a beach taverna with nice food and drinks! You have plenty of great restaurants within walking distance, and if you wanna party, platanyas is a 10 minute walk away.I highly recommend a stay here!

Just returned from holiday in Agia Marina. Atlantida is cute hotel on the beach very close as well to all what you need : supermarkets, car rental, spa area etc...coffee shops, restaurants. Studio rooms are perfect size, spacious & comfortable, air conditioning, fully equipped and very clean. Every room with balcony. Beach is only few steps from the rooms. Very good wi-fi connection. A real pleasure to stay here. The friendly team were professional and friendly. Snack bar located in front and taverna on the back close to beach gives beautiful view on the beach and Theodore Island. Food is just amazing !!! Highly recommend sea food as well meat food and delicious Greek salad my favourite!!! Big portions! Excellent apartments with everything you need. Free parking outside. Best vacation ever in Greece. I would give 6 stars if it is possible!!!! Definitely highly recommended and we would stay here again where we come to Agia again.

This review is for the snack bar which is located both on the front and back of the hotel. On the day my family and I visited, we sat at the front next to the road. We would have preferred the back overlooking the sea, but it was far too windy. This was a lunch time snack, Greek salad followed by pork giro in pitta bread and salad, along with a cool refreshing Mythos! Both my wife and I really enjoyed the meal. The Greek salad was lovely and fresh. The pork giro could have been a tad leaner, but not withstanding, it was nice and devoured within minutes. We paid just under 25 euros for two main meals and drinks. My daughter also was very kindly given a free ice cream, we had complimentary Ouzo!

Excellent! First time travelling alone to celebrate a birthday and cannot give enough compliments to how welcoming the staff where. Great staff, Great people, Agia Marina is Beautiful and the hotel was clean with no problems. First time travelling alone I was made to feel welcome also given reccomendations and directions to main spots in the local area. Went on night walks with no safety issues. Agia Marina is very nice and is different you can walk into any hotel bar/canteen and eat or drink...I did this several times for breakfast. Room: Clean, all the necessities can self cater if required, as room had cooker stoves x 2 as well as a fresh sponge to wash up and plates bowls and surprinsgly cutlery. 2 single beds, comfortable, and rooms where cleaned. Location: Excellent, if your looking for a beech holiday, this is the spot! Picture shows how close the beach is. Litrally under 30 seconds frim the rooms. Supermarket across the road which has any food drink travel accessories needed. Close to Platanias, Would reccomend renting a moped to travel, Rent a bike is a 5 minute walk away and roughly 20 euro a day for a 80cc. Close to the hotel on the beach, is watersports e.g jet ski etc. Conclusion: This is not a holiday to stay indoors! I will be back in future, this hotel is cheap, cheerful, friendly and leads right onto the beach! It is in touching distance. On the beach sunbeds are rentable for a whole day for 5 euro or under. There are also beach resorts such Red Havana and Cabana Mare which are must visits. P.S: Ensure you visit Nostos Restaurant! BEST Lamb Shank and Lamb Kleftiko ive ever had! Excellent Holiday! We have made the mistake in the past when on holidays on trying to do too much so we just wanted to settle in one place and enjoy it to the full. Dorothea (Nick) and her team were outstanding and did everything possible to make our stay comfortable. The facilities are a little basic, but comfortable, and RIGHT on the beach. We had an amazing view and sunsets to savor with great food at awesome prices. It was magic. This is a family run business and so they take your stay and enjoyment personally. The location of the apartments is also excellent in that it is in the center of the tourist district of Agia Marina. So, you can access boat tours, parasailing, jet skies, and the little Train Tours within minutes of the door. We found the little train tours great value ($20 euros per adult) for 2-3 hours tours around the Island and hinterland. It is really a relaxed and easy way to see some of the sites, history and local culture. We had a FIVE star experience at incredible value. We are not that affluent but we were able to indulge ourselves in the best of Cretan hospitality. Recommended as the best value in Crete!!! THANKS DOROTHY and for all the free Ouzo

I was a little nervous about this place, considering how cheap it was, but the reviews I'd read were great. I'm so glad I decided to take a chance and stay here. The staff were overwhelmingly friendly and courteous. We were treated as if we were family. My husband and I loved Nick, Petros, and Maria. We still talk about how great they are, even almost two months after our trip. The food was good. Large portions and very reasonably priced. They make some of the best Greek coffee I have had in Chania. Nick even gave us some cookies, on the house, to go with our coffee. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The housekeeping staff were very friendly and cleaned our room every day. The wifi was a bit spotty, but once again, Nick went above and beyond and fixed the issue for us. If we ever return to Chania, there is no doubt that we will stay at Atlantida Mare again. It was a fantastic experience. Thank you!

We loved this hotel! All four of us! We visited this lovely hotel last week and enjoyed everything:the excellent location right on the sandy beach of Agia Marina, the nicely decorated, spacious rooms, the tasty foods and desserts at the hotel's tavern, the helpful and friendly staff, the romantic view of the sunset... just everything! But most of all: the warm and smiley faces of the owners. Mrs Gogo is welcoming and ready to help no matter how busy she might be! Trust me:I have travelled Europe and stayed in nice hotels but this kind of friendliness is very rare! We will surely come back next year! Thank you so much for our lovely vacation!

Ilove this place. I visited it for the third time. Every time is better. The owners, Gogo and Antonis are very polite and friendly. The rooms are spacious and the building is located right on the beach. There are two bars. The one on the beach is also a restaurant serving a great variety of dishes, local or not. On the beach there are umbrellas and sunbeds. It is close to Chania, while you can find anything you want in the close by area as shops, bars, restaurants etc. I recommend it strongly to everyone.

I stayed at Atlantida Mare together with family and it was overall an incredibly satisfying experience! The staff’s hospitality was remarkable up until our last day at the hotel. The owner Ms. Gogo deserves a standing ovation for her friendliness and willingness to assist us at all times. In addition, we were more than content with the room size, as well as how clean it was. Another asset I would like to point out is the fact the building is practically on the beach, where you can relax on its sun beds and grab a bite from the tavern under the hotel, which serves delicious food. All in all, we look forward to coming back next year!
