Hari Club Beach Resort

The hotel is slightly dated but the staff are Absolutely brilliant and can't do enough to help you. The food is very very tasty and yes sometimes repeated but not an issue.. the rooms are very clean and the beach is beautiful if you want a budget break we would definitely recommend.. the gift shop though I would give a miss as very expensive..but the staff 10/10 will definitely go back.

My wife and I visited late Feb 2025 on an all inclusive package for some winter sun and decent food.  This hotel looked ideal going by these reviews and pics. Boy was I wrong to believe some of this stuff. Food pics look set up as it is nowhere near what I found and I know my food. Hotel pics in the main look like they are from when the hotel was newly opened but now not even close. Positive - Plenty sunshine, decent pool area and great waiting staff. Negative - Poor quality and choice of food, smoking inside bar area and little to no entertainment. FOOD in buffet restaurant was low in quality and limited in choice with little consideration given to kids or vegetarians. Some of the food looked to be repurposed or reheated from previous meals. Breakfast was particularly poor for choice with limited cold selection, eggs and bread about all you can have. The only positive was the staff both in the restaurant and the bar who were brilliant in looking after us.  All A La Carte restaurants were closed, snack bar closed, buffet restaurant partly open and 4 out of 5 bars closed. I understand that it is out of season but online information led me to believe that they would be available with no indication of what's in or out of season. We would normally have gone out to local restaurants in this case but don't let Google maps fool you as it did I. There is nothing anywhere near close enough to go to so we just had to suck it up in the hotel. BAR choice of drinks was also disappointing. Local lager, local wines, and limited spirits. No rum if any kind unfortunately for me. The bar was nice enough but heavy smokers made it absolutely disgusting to be in at times. Didn't want to challenge but, as confirmed by my rep, it is not permitted to smoke in enclosed areas. The main culprits were head staff within the hotel who were also very scruffy going around in jeans, hoodies and coats. There was a little clique of locals that always sat in the corner fine dining (attended by the head chef) and served hand and foot by the head of waiting staff while we had to eat the poor offerings of the buffet restaurant. HOTEL, whilst not even close to a 4 star, is generally clean and well kept although the room are a bit tired looking with various little faults such as loose toilet holders and slight rusting around plug holes. They look nothing like the online pics that are available. Pool area was a plus with plenty sunbeds and parasols and for a few dinar tip the pool waiter really looked after us.  Mini golf course was terrible and tennis courts poor with overgrown vegetation.  ENTERTAINMENT was also very poor. In the space of a week we had the entertainment team playing us music through a laptop for 3 nights, Karaoke in the main amphitheatre for 2 nights and a belly dancer for one night which no one was at all interested in. Ok so ignore the negative reviews. You get what you pay for. Rooms are pretty dated and basic but didn’t bother us. We leave tomorrow and I will be sad to go. Food has been the best of our hotel experiences, plenty of choice although no toaster at breakfast. Special shout out to the animation crew headed by Joe absolutely fantastic and plenty to get involved in. Well done to Nina and Blacky non stop energy all day and night Also to bar staff Walid , we took Stanley cups and they refilled my husbands with beer no problem. or sparkling water given on request I also have to give an extra special mention to swag the pool attendant. This guy is solid gold and keeps everyone amused around the pool. All in all we’ve had an amazing holiday and would definitely come back
