Redondo de Guayedra

We came here for one week at Easter 2024 with my sisters and my family, lodging in the two caves. Our kids are between 12 and 15. It was a beautiful stay, I have been to many hotels, among those several boutique hotels, but I have never felt so welcome. The staff is incredibly friendly, but still professional. The site has a lot of privacy and is very well maintained. The food was homemade tasty food with meat or vegetarian (vegan?) choices, vegetables were on point and everything was nicely seasoned. We will surely come back.

We spent 3 weeks at Redondo with my husband and our son and we can do nothing but praise this place. You feel like you live in a tiny paradise village. You can enjoy the privacy of your villa and meet lovely people during the breakfast which is served at the common area. The staff was amazing and extremely helpful. I was booking our vacation 2 months on beforehand and everything was full but I called them and they managed to find room for us and we only had to change houses once during our stay. The hotel is on a big estate so you can rent a golf cart to drive around it and it was a lot of fun!

We stayed in the cave house by the sea with our little boy who is nearly 2 years old. The staff were very friendly and really want to make sure the guests are enjoying themselves and do everything they can to ensure you are left with a smile on your face. Sadly my Spanish is shocking but most of the staff speak excellent English so this was not really a problem. One member of staff who looks after the animals who I believe was called Julian really made our stay full of surprises and really engaging for our son. To our delight on our first morning he set up a feeding station for the resident tortoise and invited us to feed him. There is a donkey, peacocks, geese and ducks and chickens all very well cared for and in the subsequent days we were able to get involved and feed the animals which our little boy loved. The site is very big and the map and pictures do not do the place justice in terms of size. For us hiring a golf cart was a must, my one slight criticism is that the golf cart should really be included as standard especially for the cave houses as getting around without it in the heat is hard work. The golf carts are fun to drive and allowed us to hop between various viewpoints, the beach, the cave house, the animals and the play area. We also found that this provided us with a great activity as our son loved to just look around as we drove through the site each day. The food cooked up by the restaurant is really fresh and full of flavour. We ate evening meals there twice and lunch once. They cater for vegetarian and vegans and accomodate allergies. It's a 3 course set menu for the same meal for either lunch or dinner. It's always priced at 23 euros which seemed expensive however the quality of the food far exceeds the restaurants we tried on the island. The breakfast that is included each day is also really good with a great selection on offer. We loved the coffee! They have taken care to build up a good menu of wines and we were lucky enough to try 3 different red wines. One suggestion would be that the resort could offer a wine tasting experience for all guests as we would loved to have tried more! A tip for the beach would be to head down in the afternoon when the tide is lower and to head towards Agaete you will find lots of crabs on the rocks. We thought they were fab and our little one loved it! The cave we stayed in offers real seclusion which we thought was great and the views out to the sea were beautiful. All in all, we had a fabulous time here. It's unique, friendly and full of charm and we would definitely recommend!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Urlaub in dieser schönen Anlage. Wir haben in der Villa Abenchara gewohnt. Diese war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bot uns alles, was wir brauchten und sogar mehr. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse aus ragte bis zum Hafen von Agaete. Sehr cool waren die Golf-Caddies, mitdenen wir uns auf der Anlage fortbewegten. Es ist ruhig bis auf die hupenden Laster, die man morgens hört. Das Restaurant bot ein super Frühstück und die Aussicht von deren Terrasse war ebenfalls atemberaubend. Der Strand vom Hotel ist wundervoll, allerdings ist es nicht jeden Tag möglich gewesen zu baden, da es an manchen Tagen sehr wild war. Ein Freund des Hauses half uns zu verstehen, wie man das Meer « liest ». Er selbst schwamm jeden Tag, nur mit einer Boye gewappnet, frei bis nach Agaete und zurück. Sehr beindruckend! Die Anlage ist ein Paradies und es war auch toll die Tiere zu füttern. Julián zeigte uns, wie man das bei Margarita und Co maachen sollte. Sehr toll für unseren Sohn. Man braucht unbedingt ein Auto dort, da es abgelegen liegt und man nur über die Strasse herauskommt. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen

Dieses Resort ist wirklich ganz besonders. Wird wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und bekamen eine Führung mit dem E Cart durch das Resort. Wir hatten die obere Höhlenwohnung, welche besonders lange Abendsonne hat und einen traumhaften Blick über das ganze Gelände bis zum Meer. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, liebevoll eingerichtet und bepflanzt. Jedes Häuschen liegt für sich, aber nicht einsam und ist besonders. Obst und Geműse wird zum Teil selber angebaut und Solar wird genutzt. Die Anlage lädt, mit alle seinen Wegen und gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten zum erkunden ein und hat 2 Pools. Ein schöner Strand lädt zum baden ein, sofern es der Wellengang erlaubt. Das Frühstück war sehr abwechslungsreich und appetitlich angerichtet und auch Sonderwünsche wurden von den freundlichen Mitarbeitern erfüllt. Die Atmosphäre war herzlich und familiär, wir haben uns stets willkommen gefühlt. Der nächste Ort, Agaete ist ein gepflegter Ort, mit Supermarkt Restaurants und tollen Natur Pools.

Redondo de Guayedra ne me demande pas mon « retour d’expérience ». Alors je laisse un avis sur TA. Le site est splendide, notre chambre à 160€ la nuit agréable, bien aménagée, propre, avec peignoirs, bâtons de marche, serviettes de plage, eau plate et gazeuse au frigo… , très bon petit déjeuner, équipe sympathique. Mais, parce que nous ne sommes restés que 2 nuits(?), chambre avec vue sur la zone petit-déjeuner, donc réveillés dés 7:00 par les assiettes posées sur la table et à 8:25 par les cris des gosses affamés: grosse frustration. Premier dîner pris à 19:30, dernier créneau. Nous aurions aimé dîner à 20:30. Menu unique juste correct, sans saveur, type repas de cantine scolaire, donc bien en dessous de ce aue nous aurions pu espérer dans un endroit pareil. Lit non fait à notre retour de promenade le 2e soir et pas de voiturette en haut. Nous avons piqué une voiturette des villas. En résumé: déçus.
