We visited to celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary. We had prebooked as knew it is very popular. 2 curries and a whisky creme brulee. Nice wine and even made me an espresso martini (off menu). Friendly service and very relaxing. Will definitely return.

A stylish clean comfortable room with lovely touches. Including a very nice chair, table and mirror set up with slate for hair straightners. Complimentary snacks and a very large modern wall tv both welcomed with a smile. Dinner in the Jam Jar bar had a great selection on the menu. We had a very tasty pizza and burger and washed it down with local beer available in draught. Superb. Large carpark onsite. Overall an excellent experience.

The room was exceptionally clean. The view was amazing. Loved the little touches like the gorgeous toiletries, the snacks and the little milk bottle which is so much more sensible than messing with all those sachets. The food was fantastic and all the staff were so attentive and friendly.

Visited tonight a wk after opening for the season. Food was delicious , tastes well paired, flavourful and textures were amazing. The menu was simple but not surprising for the time of year but never the less a most enjoyable meal. There was a good old fashioned Scottish welcome and a beautifully relaxed atmosphere with staff happy to please. Over all I totally recommend this little spot but book up or you’ll be disappointed as they are a busy bustling little pub/ restaurant

We had a lovely meal at the jam jar bar, last minute booking and they happily accommodated 7 of us at short notice. The food was fantastic, everyone enjoyed their meal and there were lovely items on the menu. The service was great and the staff very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and look forward to returning before we head home.

This review is for the Jam Jar bar and restaurant part of the hotel. We enjoyed a family evening in the warm and welcoming bar. The barman was friendly, cheerful and very helpful. Our food was delicious, well presented and we could not fault anything. We will be returning and we would recommend the Jam Jar. Thank you, we had a lovely evening.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. It’s beautifully situated on the edge of Loch Ewe. Our room was beautiful with gorgeous views. There were many thoughtful touches. especially loved the Scottish biscuits and teas. Could not fault our tasty breakfast… served by such a friendly member of staff. We loved our chats. The whole family had an evening no meal in the Jam Jar and the food was excellent.. a step up from the usual pub grub. We shall most definitely return.

We didn't stay in the hotel, but had some food here. Limited menu, but because it is the end of the holiday season in this part of Scotland, most places were closed already. The food was alright. The.sea bass was done well. Service was a bit slow, although only five tables were occupied. the waitress was friendly, but forgot a couple of items. Overall, a bit expensive for what is offered. But limited competition increases prices.

Stayed for one night and thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable room, our evening meal and brilliant breakfast! The staff are all great and are happy to assist in any way and will go the extra mile to enhance your stay. A hotel not to be missed if you are in the area.
