This hotel is situated just a throw away from the seafront. Clean, amenities aplenty, even had a sea view! Shame we didn’t have our WC and bathroom (would have brought a bathrobe!) but we just didn’t realized when booking. It wasn’t a big deal to be fair. Breakfast was delicious, nice coffee and meat was locally sourced which we appreciated. Parking on the road wasn’t an issue either. They have a nice booklet with restaurants recommendations.

I gave this a full five because honestly I’d have to really look hard for negatives. I stayed for 3 nights in a triple room with my mother in law as father in law is in hospital nearby. We needed a comfortable nearby place to stay. I usually go for Bosnias type hotels or travel lodge etc but we choose GwesTY as it is right at the sea. The room was cosy and really clean and tidy. The beds were incredibly comfortable and lovely tea coffee and confectionery station. We had a private bathroom which was fine but we also used the communal walk in shower which was clean and spacious. They let you get on with self serve for keys and things but you definitely felt the staff were present if you needed assistance. The breakfast looked incredible and staff were super obliging to meet requests. Quality items used such as top branded tea and coffee and locally sourced meets of high quality. It was quiet in and outside of the guest house, and yes the sound of the sea at night was a welcome way to drift off to sleep. I worked a little from here and the WiFi was great! I would 100% book this again and will miss our little 3 night safe haven, at a difficult time this was just what we needed.

Booked week before going so was nervous as had not looked at many places.But no need room was light and airy spotless clean shower and bathroom as good as any other I have used shower strong and hot a must for me . And breakfast lovely the Bacon and sausages tender succulent and tasty nothing was too much for Richard and staff ,he even offered to take breakfast up to the wife the morning she was aching .Only word of warning mind your head as you start to go down the stairs to dining room but it's marked clearly enough so fine . I shall go back in a few months for a weekend with the camera some lovely photo ops 10/10 great stay

Everything was good. Sink in the room and shower and toilets in the hall shared. Breakfast was good. Self check in. Fold left on desk you sign the form and the keys are in your envelope. I would stay there again if I am in the neighborhood. It is just steps from the beach

We stayed here three nights in a family room (three adults). The room was big enough with a seating area! Overlooking the promenade and had a lush sea view. The accommodation is really well located, right by the castle ruins and 10-15 minutes walk away from the train strain and town centre. Breakfast was fresh with choices. And they accommodate dietary needs as well. Had good communication prior to our arrival, answering all my questions! Would highly recommend.

The rooms were very clean plenty of room tea and coffee facilities in the room offer free toiletries ironing board and iron and hair dryer the breakfast outstanding and the staff welcoming enjoyed our few days there well positioned for the harbour and the pier
