Harbourmaster Hotel

Fabulous stay, the Madona suite was fabulous, the food was gorgeous, both breakfast and dinner, the nice touch was the complimentary tea and cake in the afternoon. but the best was the amazing staff, went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Would recommend to all my family and friends

A very disappointed dinner considering this is a Michlen star restaurant. There was limited choice for dinner, the food was under seasoned and just adequate . We have eaten in many Michlen star restaurants throughout the UK and this is the only restaurant which we have left extremely disappointed. The cheif needs to do better !!!. Would not recommend.....😩

We were greeted with a very warm welcome and the room we had on the top floor had an amazing view over the beach and harbour. The room itself was beautiful - very rustic and well laid out. The bar person was very chatty and the food spot on. Definitely will be booking again next time we’re down that way.

Harbourmater Hotel, Abraeron. What a place. Our stay at the end of August caught the perfect weather which just added to the perfection of Harbourmaster Hotel. Perfect location right on the quay, beautiful room with quay view. Cloud like bed, quilt and pillows. Breakfast was superb as was evening meal. Staff were polite ,friendly and very helpful and all bilingual. The hotel is situated just 2 minutes from the beach or, in the other direction, the main street. lots of restaurants and shops to pick from. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel

Stayed in the Lilac house, parking was easy by the garage at the back. Apartment was spotless. Lovely little kitchen and lounge with views of the harbour. Bathroom contains shampoo/conditioner/shower gel and hand wash. Comfortable beds and high end furniture. Would recommend.

Greeted by Dai the GM, who is a delightfully helpful, interesting and enthusiastic chap, we knew we were in for a super stay. Martha Jane was our room, like the others named after a ship, comfortable and spacious with the most astounding bathroom...to be experienced! The restaurant is lively and food excellent, for both dinner and breakfast. I loved the granola and Welsh yoghurt. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful with local knowledge.... The Harbourmaster is all it is cracked up to be.... We hope the contractor speeds up the construction works outside.

Just left after spending 4 days here… Lovely experience, staff were exceptional ( absolutely nothing was too much trouble), John & Henry room had everything we could ever have needed, lovely linen and Molton & Brown toiletries plus ex large balcony. Food was first class with really good produce. Would definitely recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Have stayed a few times and last time about a year ago. This time we stayed for 2 nights and fabulous to see many of the same friendly staff and standards and food are still fantastic. Had scallops for starters on both nights!! (No parking at the front along the harbour wall at the moment as there is building work). Thanks again for a fabulous stay and hope to see you soon. Diolch

Booked in for four nights but although the staff were fantastic and the room was luxurious, it would have been nice to have been warned about the forty four stairs up a spiral staircase to our room with no lift. Lots of people might not be able to manage that. Another problem was the lack of parking because the sea wall defences were being renovated and the parking areas in front of the hotel were no longer there. Obviously not the fault of the hotel. We did manage to get parked just around the corner by the beach when we got back from our days out, but that might have been because there were probably less people around due to the wet weather. Our bed room was huge, facing out to the sea, with an equally large bathroom with a walk-in shower, large bath, basins and loo. We also had a sofa in a separate area with a lovely window overlooking the harbour. Plenty of space for clothes as well as lots of little touches, such as dressing gowns, slippers, lovely toiletries and bottles of water, a coffee machine as well as lots of teas and coffee sachets to choose from. Everyone was so friendly and helpful too, thank you to Dai and all of your staff.
