I spent a week here as a solo traveller - pros and cons ! (Travelzoo deal) Pros - inexpensive, good food, choice of three or four mains every evening (one night no vegetarian option so I had spinach and chips), buffet breakfast, pool very warm, easy to get to Venice and Padua, near the town centre, clean bedroom with comfy bed, waiters friendly and helpful, everywhere nice and warm, was taken to railway station as in the offer Cons - scruffy communal areas, had to ask for a robe, wine with meal sometimes, rails missing to hold onto to get to outside pool, sauna not on - had to ask and it never got hot, Park Hotel across the road connected (other guests told me) had daily aqua aerobics classes, hot sauna and salt cave, better pools (but waiters etc not very pleasant), Park Hotel also had entertainment which I wasn't told about. Didn't attempt to find out about treatment included in the travelzoo offer. Finally, on my last morning I found out I had been the only guest staying overnight, which felt a bit creepy. Maximum guests had been around 30, with a group of seniors from Bologna staying for a while. We might not consider this 4* in the UK, but maybe it is the standard in Italy...

We were there a couple of weeks ago and had a great time, initial impressions were varied, we did arrive at 2230 and the bar was closed but the room was big, clean and quite impressive. The food was really brilliant, my wife has coeliac and Luigi was fabulous in understanding her requirements (gluten free pasta was great; also knowing what puddings she couldn't have). The dinner menu was incredible, 3 courses not including a salad bar; the half board deal included 1x glass of red wine, they re-filled at no extra cost and the wine was lovely, and i'm a bit fussy! Train to Venice was no problem and included in the deal, including tickets purchased by Gianluca and the team, drop off and collection at local train station. Loved the thermal pool, really good for the mind and body, great for a refresh. My advice would be see beyond the hotel that they are trying to renovate and look at the sensitivity of the staff, the chef's efforts with the cuisine and there is a wonderful trip that awaits you - for the deal we had on TravelZoo I would recommend it 100%. thanks to the staff for a wonderful 4 days, Wayne and Ali

Just returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. Had the loveliest time. Super location - just a short distance from the larger cities of Venice,Verona and Padua. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Food was great, drink prices very reasonable and we made very good use of the outdoor thermal pool. Spacious, clean rooms. Hotel may be a little dated but was made up for by the warmth and hospitality of the staff.

Just got back from a 4 night stay at the Grand Torino. The welcome was very friendly and they were very supportive. The staff spoke good English and nothing was too much trouble. The food was plentiful and of good quality. The room was comfortable and the very large bed had a memory foam mattress. There was plenty of hot water, the towels were clean and soft. Changed daily. Location was good, only a short walk to the pedestrian centre of town and close to bus stops to other cities or the airport. Excellent value for money. Well worth a visit.

Jenny is the newest Biggest Asset at this Hotel. Nothing is too much trouble. She is knowledgeable and friendly, she made our 4 night stay go really well. Her English was perfect (thank goodness as my Italian is nonexistent!) Thank you Jenny Manager Luca was also very friendly. Food was good Yes as others have said carpets do need replacing but beautiful white sheets and fluffy white towels changed daily

This was so disappointing. All the spa facilities were shut apart from pool which was in a state of disrepair, no sauna or jacuzzi. The bar was shut and if you could get someone to come to it there was hardly any stock even down to , sorry no ice, REALLY !!! The rooms are very tired looking, we had to move once as the sink was leaking and the bathroom floor all was all wet. It did not help that one day myself and my wife were the only people staying there in a nearly 200 room hotel. I can only think they are going bust and just running the business down. Half way through the “holiday “ we were going to leave but getting flights out were being quoted at £260 each. I would point out though the head waiter and his staff were really friendly and obliging. This holiday is still being offered by Travelodeal so please be aware

Siamo arrivati il venerdì dove si svolge evento Ballame . Siamo stati accolti subito gentilmente dalla signorina Chiara ragazza educata e gentilissima. Sistemazione in camere spaziose, albergo in ristrutturazione ma sempre con un fascino imponente. Il direttore una persona efficace (Gianluca) sempre presente dalle colazioni alla fine della serata sempre pronto a rispondere e risolvere ogni richiesta . La cucina a dir poco eccellente da affogare nelle portate abbondanti e super gustose. Servizio in sala impeccabile . Complimenti

Unica pecca la la ragazza bionda in ricevimento molto maleducata ed arrogante. Il soggiorno e stato fantastico camere spaziose e pulite cibo più che eccellente e in abbondanza. Direttore simpaticissimo e molto cordiale sempre a disposizione. Il titolare persona molto alla mano e grande persona da ammirare per gli sforzi fatti e il coraggio

Penso che chi dice che si mangia male non ha capito nulla Ottima cucina ,servizio buono , camere spazziose e pulite , In ristrutturzione ma sempre aftascinante. Titolare e direttore (il gigante buono) sempre a disposizionone e gentilissimi Unica pecca la ragqzza bionda in ricevimento , molto qrrogante e maleducata . Complimenti siete sulla Buona strada
