Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig was Badezimmer anbelangt.

May 2025 Hello, I’ve just got back from holiday and wanted to share my feedback from our stay. My brother and I stayed 3 nights and I paid for my friend for one night. I also stayed 3 nights and hardly got any sleep during my stay….yes some noise from the Train Station, but mostly from the Discotheque and the bar in the hotel and people slamming doors at 2 :00 a.m. The safe wasn’t working, and I had black mold in the shower. Also I was told parking was included….it wasn’t. This was not the usual quality I’ve experienced in the past… I’m not sure what your policy is but I feel I should get a refund for my stay. They wrote back saying there was nothing to be done despite the fact I used the self check desk ( a joke) to report the problems….

Went to stayed in This Hotel and did booked a junior Suite to stay. Although we did arrived on Friday 02.Feb 2023at the Hotel at 13.40 pm but couldn't get to the room. As the room was not ready. Did contacted Hotel on the phone and have to waited another hour. So we couldn't allow to check-in and have to wait somewhere for an hour. Then when we got the room and the room was ok but what is worst in the room is that you paid for fr.162 a night but you don't get even a bottle of water and not a single glass in the room. Sorry !! for a Hotel junior Suite is just not match in our expectations. When one see picture that's Hotel provided. Is far worst more than we had experienced. Later on the same day had to checked out because Hotel doesn't fit for standard Hotel requirements. But that's our experienced.

The Covid pandemic has been hard on the service industry and Hotel Aarauerhof has also suffered through it. A change of management and a more bare bones service since our last visit to this Hotel almost three years ago. We took a Junior Suite which was quite spacious and the bathroom also large. The room was however stripped of the conveniences that had once existed. No mini-refrigerator or coffee machine. The basement steam room and sauna which had previously existed were now closed. A bit worryingly there were no staff for large parts of the day and night – and staff seemed to appear only early morning and disappear by lunchtime. The two times we needed some assistance – one on checking in one afternoon, and once late at night - there were no staff at the hotel – which would have been a problem had it been an emergency. There is however a 24 hour number which can be called which is moderately useful. The staff were efficient and friendly. The breakfast was basic and limited but otherwise good. The room looked a bit worn (upholstery faded etc) but the linen was spotless. As the heating was still on (in late April) we needed to crack the window open a bit which made the room rather noisy. The bathroom door didn’t lock properly and the need for maintenance was apparent. The hotel was showing some age and needs some work. Overall the hotel is well priced and functional, but it wasn’t what it used to be some years ago which is a pity because I like it for its excellent location (right next to the Railway station and easy access to the town center).

Jamais eu un tel hôtel en Suisse, à éviter. Cher pour ce que c est, sans personnel ni petit déjeuner. Quand on prend contact au numéro de tél indiqué je dois parler une langue étrangère, le Hochdeutsch :) alors que je suis chez moi. Fenêtre ferme mal, au 4è étage on entend les basses de la disco en bas jusqu à 4h du matin. Pas de verre dans la chambre pour boire de l eau. Corridor sent le renfermé, vieux tapis. Quand on ouvre la fenêtre pour de l air fraiche on entend la voirie qui nettoie la ville le dimanche matin à 6h45.

Check in war super, ebenso sauberkeit des Zimmers war wirklich tatellos, jedoch lässt von 2 Uhr nachts bis 5 Uhr Nachts ist die Nachbardisko das Bett erzittern. Ebenso der Bass der Diskothek ist sehr laut. Selbst Hörschutz ist hier ziemlich erfolglos. Ebenso riecht es extrem nach Zigaretten. Das es überhaupt gesetzlich gelaubt ist ein Hotel direkt neben einer Diskothek zu haben?
